  3.  @mattbrawner7888  you need to understand the most important thing. North and South Korea are essentially one country just like North and South Vietnam. Just that South Korea is being occupied by the USA. So when the USA grant independence to South Korea it is just natural for them to reunite with the North, that cannot be considered being attacked. I believe that North Korea has no such intention to also. Just like Taiwan people they have siblings, cousins, uncles and aunts on the Mainland, South Koreans also have siblings, cousins, uncles and aunts in the North too.
