  1. The big problem with Malaysia is that Malaysia is a manufacture based export oriented country. Though this may seem to be a good thing we have to understand that majority of the raw material used for these manufacturing is imported and the labour working in these factories are also imported too. If you take this factor in to consideration, the net gain for Malaysia is actually very little. That is one of the reason why the Ringgit value can drop faster than any other currencies.

  2.  @kamilasukses3177  yes, unless Malaysians & Malaysian businesses owners change their attitude to be more productive oriented and not only depends on the low labour costs centred economy then there will be a chance for Malaysia.
