@karmankm2156 This National Security Law is a requirement by the British - Sino Joint Declaration for the return of Hong Kong to the Mainland. It is not an Arbitrary law Please read the facts and not consume Propaganda. Don’t embarrass yourself.

When you look at Hong Kong Tibet and Xinjiang you will definitely trust China and the Chinese Government. it makes the Australian Government look like a big failure.

@king-pn4bj This video is very biased and has twisted all the facts so please watch it with 30 spoonful of salt. There is no truth in this video.

@karmankm2156 if you care to read the basic Law, there is no promise of universal suffrage. The basic Law also states that matters of national security is to be decided by the central Government in Beijing.

@karmankm2156 who says there is no freedom of speech and freedom of press in China? Don't listen to the western Propaganda on this as it is not true. You definitely have never been to China and don't know anything about China.

No Hong Kong is not the first. The USA Government has been stirring military coup, student uprising and others to install a puppet Government answerable to Corporate USA. You are also seeing Thailand and Myanmar too these are the other two on going disruptions organized by the CIA.

In Hong Kong Pro-Democracy = killing innocent bystanders + burning people alive + burning train stations + burning police Stations + Stabbing Police in the neck + storming Parliament + Burning Banks, People’s homes, Restaurants, Shopping Malls + destroying roads, railway lines and subways + looting Nancy Pelosi “This is a beautiful sight to behold” In USA Insurrection = Storming Parliament Riots = burning shops, protesting and looting Nancy Pelosi “These are unacceptable Rioters and Insurrectionists”

You are so right, In Hong Kong there is no rule of law as these rioters has been arrested and charged with the crimes that they have committed. When the judges try these cases, they will pronounce them guilty but let them go with a minor punishment of HKD 1,000 fine for rioting and destroying public property. Or they may just have to serve 10 hours community service because they are young so it is ok for them to kill people on the streets who do not agree with them. The education system is also dead because kindergarten children are encouraged to shun and shame their fellow students because their fathers are police officers. Kindergarten children are taught to stand up and shout anti-Government slogans and fight for freedom. The healthcare system is also broken because rioters who are also doctors and nurses force their fellow doctors and nurses to not treat patients during the pandemic and go on strike. Doctors and nurses who are pro-democracy supporters intentionally administer wrong medications to police officers injured in the riots with an intention to kill them. If you are an ordinary citizen who do not support the pro-democracy rioters you will also be intentionally treated wrongly with an intention to kill or hurt you badly.

@leochan5299 you are right, Hong Kong is a victim of extreme capitalism gone wrong. Therefore the system is broken and really need fixing. These so called pro-democracy politicians are not the answer as they are the ones that prolonged and expounded on the existing problem as they are partially funded by the super rich elites who wants them to take care of their own interests.

@ghormax The Chinese Government has every right to determine the future of Hong Kong as Hong Kong is a Chinese City. The basic law requires an extradition law to be made separately in Hong Kong. This basic law also states that National Security is a matter to be handled by the Chinese Government based in Beijing. Therefore when the Chinese mainland Government left it to the Hong Kong Government to make their own National Security Law for the past 23 years and it has not been done, the Chinese Government has a duty to come out with one specifically for Hong Kong and this is in accordance to the Basic Law of Hong Kong. Contrary to what has been reported in this video, this National Security Law is by right under the purview and discretion of the Chinese Government in Beijing.

@ghormax The basic law does not promise universal suffrage, it promises elections and that is what has been given to the people of Hong Kong,

@mashlee8712 mind you this extradition law is a requirement for Hong Kong to participate in Interpol activities without it Hong Kong is not able to contribute to international crime fighting. So you are supporting international crimes or you are against international crimes. The looks of the ABC is that Australians do support international Crimes.
