Okay, so what is supposed to happen to the church? Just let them exist for free? Are you going to go there and spend money to keep them going even if you do not believe in god? Or do you keep the church by transforming it into something profitable? I recently went to a church in Dordrecht that had been transformed into a kitchen supply store, but it still looks like a church, you can still learn about its history. What was the alternative going to be? Make it a money dumb, or demolish it?
