  1. 0:47 Heck, my parent's generation (people who graduated high school in the 1960's) could get by on just a high school diploma. Yes, that was a time when the American manufacturing industry was strong (especially American steel). Since then, most of those jobs ended up overseas.

  2. Well, that depends in America. If you are talking about "ivy league" universities (like Yale, Harvard, Princeton, etc.), then yes, 100k plus. State colleges and community colleges are FAR less in cost. Also, depends on if you are going for a bachelor's degree (4 years) or associate degree (2 years). If the later, than figure $14k for a two year degree at a community college.
