  1.  @kathrynck  If you prefer "...less icing on a cake..." then perhaps you should skip out on it if it has too much "icing" for your taste. There may be some videos on this subject matter that are free of "icing" altogether. As for me, I liked the video. Not too much "icing" for my taste; very informative with a good historical perspective.

  3.  I Em Hoo I Iz  I'd would say it is just "dumb luck" and or "right place" in this tragic ordeal. Or as we American's say, "The luck of the draw." This saying amounts to mere chance instead of any attributes of skill in surviving. A small amount of "dumb luck" for just 3 men out of 1415 others. We honor their sacrifice.
