  3. The advantage goes to the Allies. And if for no other reason than access to near limitless airpower and resupply (and fresh bodies). The Germans on the other hand? What they have is being burned up day by day. Fighting a war of attrition has never been to Germany's advantage (in both wars). Glad to see Germany does not want to go a third round. 9:04 With all the racket from the MG-42 blazing away, it is doubtful that the G.I. that forgot to take his finger off of the trigger would have alerted the Germans via an accidental discharge.
