  1.  Chí Thiệ Nguyễn  I needed to respond to something that you said earlier that got lost in this maze of comments. So, here goes... Yeah, punching a police officer is called "Assault on a Police Officer", and yes, it is a crime. Just like punching anyone on the street is a crime. No fear in Vietnam of being arrested? (that is an outright lie and you know it). You really expect me to believe that you can hit a Vietnamese police officer, and nothing will come of it????? Ok then, I’ll give you the extreme benefit of the doubt on that one; however, I will require you to PROVE IT THEN! Get your Go Pro out, turn it on to record mode, and walk up to the nearest Vietnamese Police Officer and cold cock him right in the mouth! I want you to hit him hard enough to make his mouth bleed and for him to pick himself up off the ground! Then put the video on here. Yet if you make a critical comment on Facebook about the government in Vietnam you go to prison for 6 years? That doesn't add up to logic. Well, go burn your flag in public then. We can do that in the U.S. Come on, Nguyen, for once in your pitiful life don’t be a scared little punk. Get your video camera out, grab a Vietnamese flag, squirt it real good with lighter fluid, and set it on fire with a zippo lighter. Then after you walk through the street with a burning Vietnamese flag to the rising adulation of the crowd that will think you are so cool for exercising your "free" speech rights that are respected in Vietnam, post the video on here to YouTube. I’ll give it a thumbs up if you do, and I’ll even give it a like and subscribe to your new channel!! How else to prove me wrong, right? Do that, and you may gain my respect! What have you got to lose? You’ll actually be cool for once in your life! You wrote, "But US, they are always fear of the cop because they don't want the public excution [sic] by gun shots lol." Really? Cops go to prison too when they shoot people without legal justification. You didn’t know that, right? All deadly use of force incidents are carefully reviewed by the district attorney’s office for possible charges. Same can be said for any American to use deadly force if they need to (depending on that person’s particular State of residence). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a0syS9bI9Xo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qkY6FjqWp00 https://youtu.be/GHVddBKsCKk?t=2 ^^that last one has someone of your general appearance going to prison as a cop! 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣

  2.  Chí Thiệ Nguyễn  'unlike US" as you ended that comment, that part is clearly wrong. What you meant to write was "almost like in U.S." With the vast array of entertainment and sports, there is literally no limit to the amount of fun Americans have. You STILL have not told me what it is that you can do in Vietnam that I as an American cannot do in the U.S.??? Besides eating dog or cat meat. Heck, even cats and dogs have more rights in the U.S. than they do in Vietnam. Animal cruelty to a domestic pet is a crime (and indeed it should be). You are going to have to respond to this point, I won't let this one go. If need be, I'll copy and paste this comment into this discussion everyday if I have to. No police abuse of citizens in Vietnam? Wanna explain this then?...... "The Committee specifically requested that the State of Vietnam elucidates and informs the Committee about the outcome of the deaths in police custody of the following individuals by December 7, 2019: Do Dang Du, a 17-year-old minor, who reportedly died in custody on 5 February 2015 as a result of severe injuries to the head and body while in police custody in Chuong My district, Hanoi; Nguyen Huu Tan, a Buddhist who was detained and whom the police alleged had committed suicide while in custody. No independent investigation of the death was carried out, and the detainee’s family was subjected to reprisals from the local police after complaining to the authorities; Ma Seo Sung, a Hmong Christian who was arrested and detained by the police and allegedly committed suicide by hanging and whose family also received threats of reprisals; Ksor Xiem of the Montagnard Evangelical Church, who died of injuries sustained in police custody, and Y Ku Knul a Montagnard Christian who died while under arrest and whose body showed signs of electric shocks." https://www.thevietnamese.org/2019/01/vietnamese-police-faced-new-brutality-allegations-amid-obligations-to-follow-up-un-committee-against-tortures-recommendations/

  4.  Chí Thiệ Nguyễn  Watched you video link, and???? You act like that doesn't happen in America? My turn... The commercial that preceded it features McDonalds in Vietnam. Big deal, we have that here too. Regarding your referenced video: I observed people standing outside taking pictures and women in yellow shirts dancing, and guys wearing orange and pink shirts? Ok. So? People dance outside here too, as they do everywhere else on the planet. “Unlike in America” you say? https://youtu.be/xGPjonxrUYc?t=6 Quite a few people here at this event in Miami, Florida in 2017. People of all ethnicities, and flying their own flags from their respective cultures (you can do that in America). Here, Native American dancing link below… https://youtu.be/RJkkK3PG3qw?t=3 Chicago dancing https://youtu.be/vF_ghvvIfjU?t=2 So, this video that you showed did not contain anything that is so unique that it can't be found in America. Well, I clearly showed you otherwise on the matter. And that is just dancing as one activity. For others, there are other fun things to do. Gun range is always fun. Do you have this? See below... Can you do this??? We can. https://youtu.be/IlXbFE_ZO6Q?t=4 Or how about track racing your sports car? https://youtu.be/KJ0OkRciKKc?t=2 Heck, bring your Vinfast! 😂😂😂 I'm sure it can hold it's own against a Ford Shelby Mustang or a Dodge Charger Hellcat! How about skydiving???? Got that too. https://youtu.be/hWAC_TS6BcY?t=4 Anything else you want to showcase from Vietnam that we can't do here in the U.S.???

  9.  Chí Thiện Nguyễn  Phương Pháp Thành Công claimed that you can say whatever you want in Vietnam (free speech), however, you can’t criticize the government or what they are doing. People in Vietnam will criticize the government when there is no government official around. BINGO!!!! That is exactly what I have been trying to get through your thick skull, Nguyen! In America, not only can we say whatever we want (just ask John Cena, lol), but we can criticize the government, their actions and policies, and the words of protestors may or may not even be factual. And you know what? ISN’T A DARN THING THE AMERICAN GOVERNMENT CAN DO ABOUT IT. That is freedom, pure and simple. I can make any critical statements about America in the presence of ANY government official. Doesn’t matter if it is the F.B.I, a judge, mayor, or governor, and none of these U.S. government officials need to be my hang out buddy or friend. Yes, you can’t do that in your country. So, strike 1 for you on free speech. In Công’s second point, he claims that poor people in America and people with no influence have free speech, but rich people and those with influential positions are limited by free speech. Not 100% accurate. Công makes an assumption that the media, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, etc. are blocking material that would say good things about Trump. Whoever said that there were only good things to say about Trump? There are PLENTY of bad things to say about Trump, and the negative comments about Trump are due largely to the stuff that comes out of Trump’s own mouth! Yes, even Trump has free speech to tell as many lies as he wants (and he takes great liberty with this point). In any event, it is not democracy or even the American government that is controlling the media. The media is NOT owned by the government. This means that rich people in America can block comments from people they do not like. But again, it is not the government doing it. Công’s comment at 9:09 raises an interesting point. Nevertheless, it is not the government that is controlling what gets posted to the media, and what does not get posted. Think about it for a second; Trump (at that time he WAS the government), and people like Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook (who is rich, but not a government official) blocked Trump’s statements. So, did Fox News and CNN, I saw that with my own eyes, Nguyen! I was watching Trump talk on TV, and he was taken off the air, not by the government or police, but by the privately owned media (this has NEVER happened before to a President on live TV). This could not happen in communist Vietnam for the simple fact that the government controls the media. It is obvious that Công is a Trump supporter (fine, that’s his choice). But the deplorable things about Trump is not what the media says about him, no, it is what comes out of Trump’s own mouth whenever the media provides him coverage. At 10:01, Công claimed that his business crypto currency accounts got shut down and they gave him his money back because of his support of Trump. Regardless if that was true or not, it was not done by the government. And you know how I know that? Easy, Trump WAS the head of the government at that time. Oddly enough, there are still pro-Trump businesses out there that did and still do flourish. So, what gives? https://www.flare.com/news/brands-that-support-trump/ ^^^ That is a link that shows business entities that support Trump. And you know what? They are still in business! As for Mr. Công, who knows why his situation turned out the way it did. We already know from his own statements that he is a convicted felon that served 14 years in prison in California. So how do we know his crypto accounts were not shut down due to illegal activity? I don’t know, and neither do you, and he is not going to come out and say that. At 10:55, Công even claims that this is just his opinion on the matter and that he has no proof to support his claim. 11:46, Công talks about “freedom of speech” and compares this notion with “freedom of action.” He talks about living in a “pretty decent neighborhood in north Dallas.” He claims that in this good neighborhood, that a person is not free to paint their house the color they want. Well, this is true! However, this is because a person CHOOSES to live in a community that has this Homeowner Association requirement. This does not mean you can’t move into a rich neighborhood that is not in this classification. So, that is freedom. In the Homeownership Association, everyone is held to the same standard. He said that the homeowner has to get permission to paint, but so do the other homeowners that need his permission, so it is fair at the very least. Otherwise, again, that person is free to move to a home that has no restrictions. Công mentioned that he would need the majority approval from the 400 neighbors that live in the Homeownership community. Well, that is how we elect our politicians too! You can’t make everyone happy. The majority of the vote is what counts. 15:31, Cong complains that his 3% tax on his property tax comes out to over a $1,000 a month. Well, the more your homes costs, the more you have to pay. If he has money to go shopping for Lamborghini’s, then he is well off financially to afford this. I mean, I do not even know someone who owns a Lamborghini or a Ferrari. If he were wise about it, he would have moved into a community that does not have HOA rules. The tax would be the value of his property (not based on his income). He says it is not freedom. Well actually, it is freedom in a sense. He is free to move out of the HOA in Dallas and buy a home someplace else. Choices are freedom. I pay less than $300 per month in property taxes. Property taxes are necessary for a local government to fund services such as the fire department, police department, emergency medial response, road repair, snow removal, etc., and the salaries for those employed in these functions. 25:38, Cong makes a statement regarding running a business without requiring safety measures (steel toe boots, hardhats). Well, in the U.S. there are regulations in place to protect workers from unscrupulous employers who cut corners to maximize profit. Think OSHA; they do inspections of business to ensure that these businesses operate in a safe manner to protect the employees, as well as customers. Just because they may not do that in communist Vietnam does not mean that is a good practice. Less business regulations means more injuries or the potential for a fatality. I can agree that as a business owner you should be able to do what you want; however, you should not be able to make decisions that compromise the safety of your employees and your customer base. Employees have rights too, namely a safe work environment. Under our system of government, the right of safety for workers is prescribed by law. 27:18 Loud music being played at full volume? How is that freedom? So, a person can play their music as loud as they want without regard for the neighbors who may not share your taste in music? Just as a person may have a right to play their music, I have a right not to have to hear it, same goes the other way. However, people still play their music loudly here too (don’t let anyone fool you). Unless the police are called, there is no enforcement in this regard. 27:34 Cong said he can’t work on his car in front of his home in Dallas. Well again, he was part of that HOA community. He chose to live there, and he knew the rules and regulations up front. As for me? I live in America (non HOA community), and I can change my oil, or any other automotive repair function (and no, I don’t live in the " hood” either.

  11.  Chí Thiện Nguyễn  You still are not addressing the point here; what benefit do YOU (as in your own experience and in your own words) have in communist Vietnam that I do not have in the USA??? You claimed your idea of freedom was represented by a YouTube video of a public dance party in Vietnam. Well, I easily supported the fact that this sort of activity exists in large measure right here in the U.S. And while it is true that some people do move to Vietnam (including some expats), it is equally true that far more people move to the USA for the rewarding opportunities that are here. As for communism? When Vietnam was getting established as a communist country in 1976, the USA was celebrating its bicentennial (1776). This supports the fact that democracy does work, and it is a system of governance that won't be going away anytime soon. By contrast, Russia became communist after the Russian Civil War (1917–1923), and their system of socialist government fell by 1990. So, what does that tell you? China adopted elements of democracy and became the success that they are today. They are on track to eventually become democratic. As for communism, you stick up for it like it is some Asian creation to be proud of. It is not; it began in Europe and spread from there. Carl Marx “Das Capital” began in Germany (specifically Prussia), although it was Russia where this movement began to take form. America takes in more refuges than any country on the planet (at least according to 2015 figures). https://www.theguardian.com/news/2018/sep/10/migration-how-many-people-are-on-the-move-around-the-world Most migrants move to the USA, Germany, Saudi Arabia, the United Kingdom, and Russia. Vietnam is NOT even mentioned as a top destination for those looking to move abroad. Communism is a system that fosters government control over most things, it also excites exceptional paranoia over what the citizens are saying about them, secret police that monitor everything and report back to the party. In their twisted doctrine there is nothing that even compares to the rights that are outlined in the American Bill of Rights. So, Nguyen, once again you have failed miserably to convince me that communism is the right thing for me and America. So far, anything and any point that you raised that you feel is an advantage of your life under communism in Vietnam has also been shown to exist in the U.S. In addition to these points, I have also outlined how similar jobs in communist Vietnam offer significantly less pay than the same job in the U.S. Democracy just offers a higher standard of living. After all, did you get 3 different stimulus checks from your government since the Coronavirus pandemic (tax free of course)???????? I did! Does your government offer a Federal Pell grant for students to earn their 1st bachelor’s degree???? The U.S. does! That is money that you do not have to pay back. All one has to do is be within a certain income bracket to qualify. You posted a video link concerning “not all Vietnamese Americans are agree with you, here one lol” Well, here is a link for a video of one that does agree with me: https://youtu.be/3C7dwBlF61c?t=1 From this video ^^^at 1:06 “fear and panic” gripped the streets when Saigon fell. Why would there be “fear and panic” Nguyen?? Can you explain that???? If the communist government is so nurturing and caring about the Vietnamese, why would they experience the emotion of fear instead of joy? Why would they risk their lives to escape the communist consolidation of Vietnam???? And we are not talking about 1 person, but rather thousands! Thuy Vu was one of the lucky ones to make good her escape from Vietnam with her family and go to America where she works in the lucrative career of journalism. Here is another video “Boat People” with Van Nguyen (hey, same name as you. you may have a relative in the U.S.!). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sFW35zWsRew

  12.  Chí Thiện Nguyễn  Part 1 my response to you: You wrote: “The people who speech against the government aren't always smart, they're always asking for the least-smartest thing that they thinks it will fix their problem from the government, but it is not.” ^^^^Not always smart? Then it would be fair to say that some are indeed smart and well informed. You wrote: “You can criticize the U.S. government all the time as you want, but that can't never be translated to action nor changed anything from the current situation in US, meaning it is totally the most useless thing you can do against your government. The US government doesn't care about fixing the problems that the American criticized them for, they will just do the cheapest way as possible to decreasing the old problems by creating more new problems on top of the old. They don't fix the problem from the root, they fix it from the top. For example: 1. The BLM Americans protected on their government for police brutality. But not by expand the training time of the police to make them more professional in action so they can be more calm and know more ways to handling in each situation they are facing without using their gun and force that will decrease the police brutality rate, because this is the most expensive way. Instead they go for the cheapest way by decrease the police funding, fire some police or giving them earlier retirement, so now there are lesser police in action meaning there will be lesser police brutality meaning problem sold right? Then what will you do about the crimes rate that have gone up 1000% because of the lack of police and the money that was used to fund the police gone to the politician's pockets after that?” ^^Not true at all. You clearly do not know how things are over here in the U.S. based on that statement. So, allow me to educate you a bit on this…. First off, criticizing the government can indeed bring about change. Did you not hear of the George Floyd Act being handled at the legislative level of the U.S. government???? Communities across the U.S. are revamping their Police “Use of Force” policies. More training and crisis intervention techniques are part of this bill. Also, police departments (aside from the F.B.I. or DEA, or U.S. Marshals service) are not federalized. This means that each state, be it Texas, North Carolina, Ohio, Utah, etc., have different standards for police training. Even though the George Floyd incident happened in one city (Minneapolis, Minnesota) in 2020, protests were in virtually EVERY major city in EVERY state in the U.S. And you know what? It didn’t stop there either. No, protests occurred in other countries where there is a right to free speech; with the notable exception of totalitarian governments like in communist Vietnam. I’d like to touch on one point that you raised (however brainless it is on your part) … You wrote: “Instead they go for the cheapest way by decrease the police funding, fire some police or giving them earlier retirement, so now there are lesser police in action meaning there will be lesser police brutality meaning problem sold right?” ^^^First off, you can’t “fire” a police officer without just cause (i.e. unless they do something like what Derek Chauvin did in 2020). You see, almost all police departments are “unionized” (an alien concept in communist Vietnam), which means that the individual officer has a right to the collective bargaining process, and secondly, early retirement is a choice made by the officer, not the government. Your suggestion (if implemented) would mean that young, inexperienced police officer would exacerbate the situation compared to the seasoned veteran police officers. And what makes you think that a new officer can handle a stressful situation better than a veteran officer? And being a veteran officer does not necessarily mean that individual can handle a stressful situation. Each person (doesn’t matter where you live on the planet) can react to a stressful situation differently. Some may panic, while others are more composed and rational. You never can tell how an officer will react until they are in a stressful situation. And you know what? It is not everyday that a police officer gets shot, or shot at. And secondly, when and where did the talk of “defund the police” actually translate to action on the part of anyone tasked with funding the police??? President Biden is not supportive of “defund the police”, so what makes you think that is going to be the outcome? If anything, more funding will be steered towards police reform, not a reduction in police officers. This means that funding will help hire more social workers to accompany police to better assist them with handling calls for service that involve possible mental health encounters with the public. Do some research on the “George Floyd Act.” Look Nguyen, your responses just show how very young and inexperienced you are in life compared to someone like me. You have no college degree (to say anything of an American education), and you lack the critical thinking skills and common sense that I have gained in my own life experience. This is why you are having a difficult time defending your points in support of communism compared to may debate strategy in defending democracy. Furthermore, with the momentum and support that BLM generated from ALL races in America, the protests over the last year have definitely captured the attention of American politicians to take measures to bring about change in policing. Do you actually think the George Floyd Act would have come about if everyone kept their mouth shut and didn’t criticize the government here in the U.S. over the past year???? These politicians really want to be reelected next term, so they, along with the “Free” media attention has generated pressure on these politicians. Here, read about the George Floyd Act below: https://www.congress.gov/bill/116th-congress/house-bill/7120 Read up on this one, kid; you have some homework to do, and you have a lot to learn. I suggest you get busy ^^^ Don’t just read the summary on the page, no, click on all the tabs at the link about and read up. part 2 to follow...

So why not asking the US billionaires or CEO to keep the lesser money in their pockets for themselves and taking lesser profit by charging their products and their service lesser? Instead you asked for more minimum wage which result the employers hire lesser employees, cutting the working hours, forcing more works in every single employee or the price of the products and services gone up meaning it increase of unemployed rate, increase the stress on employees and the cost of living will still gone up again. If the minimum wage go up, some US manufacture companies will not want to hire American workers any more, they will just gone to Mexico, Vietnam, India Bangladesh and more for cheap labor, Americans are losing their job for that. Because they have to pay their employee more, they will just have to charge their service higher. Imagine having a college degree but still have to work at the minimum wage in US. Any of the officers that left that department (200, not 260) left in protest because they don’t want to change their abusive policing habits. Doesn’t matter if they left or not, Seattle has hired more officers. It is a good paying job, so finding replacements will not be that hard. Portland? That is ONE city in one state among thousands of major cities in 49 other states. I notice that ALL of your references are strictly YouTube. You do know that there are better sources to get information, right? Maybe not. Now, on to the minimum wage topic, shall we…. First off, raising the wage will not cause the problems that you have raised. You sound like a Republican instead of a communist. Are you sure you are a communist at this point??? If people have a better wage, then they tend to spend more of their disposable income, which has the effect of growing the economy. This brings about a positive turn of events at reducing depression, which means that drug and alcohol abuse goes down, and crime goes down. By contrast, if you keep wages low, especially at a level that does not keep pace with inflation, then what does that do? People don’t spend money, because they have none to spend. Instead, the government has to support people on welfare and that will cost the government money. In any event, it really doesn’t matter if the government steps in or not. And you know why??? Because businesses are raising wages on their own. This has the ripple effect of causing one business to raise wages or face losing their employees to the competitor that pays more. It is a simple matter of common sense, Nguyen. Would you work a job that paid less than an employer down the street??? Of course not! Then why would you expect that someone in America will be satisfied working 40 hours a week at $7.25 per hour? That may be big bucks in Vietnam, but in the U.S.? That is where the poverty line is. In one of your previous posts you brought up California, New York City... Look, $7.25 per hour in these two locations is a guaranteed tent under a bridge there. No way someone is getting an apartment with that wage in those locations. Why do you think small businesses are having such a hard time finding employees in the U.S.??? Want to take a guess? Amazon already pays their employees $15 per hour (and this is an entry level job with no college needed), and most retail establishments in America are on track to raise the wage to $15 per hour in the next year or so. Raising the minimum wage would bring more than a 1 million Americas out of poverty. Here, since you base your arguments on everything YouTube videos and their content as “gospel”, here are a few that refute your idea that raising the minimum wage will be a bad thing. That’s the thing about YouTube, one point can support or refute the other. https://youtu.be/8H4yp8Fbi-Y?t=2 The 5 Biggest Myths Republicans Use to Avoid Raising the Minimum Wage | Opinions | NowThis https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DPn6T0zT6jc As for your point that businesses will lay off people or send jobs overseas?? LOL!! They have already been doing that! It is called greed. Why do you think the American Steel Industry took a hit in the 1990's??? The millionaires and billionaires always want more and more at the expense of the working class American. Funny though. Since 1990, business CEO pay has gone up 514%(https://corpgov.law.harvard.edu/2018/09/19/growth-in-ceo-pay-since-1990/ Yet the minimum wage has only gone up by approximately 52%. If the minimum wage had gone up by the CEO's 514%, the working wage would be 19.53 per hour from 1990 to today! Nobody is proposing that kind of raise. You wrote: “If the minimum wage goes up, some US manufacture companies will not want to hire American workers any more, they will just gone to Mexico, Vietnam, India Bangladesh and more for cheap labor,” Yeah, as I said before…. the businesses have already been doing that very thing. Cheap labor? They already get that with shoes and other items marked “made in China.” So, what is your point? n any event, individual states and businesses are doing the right thing that the federal government is struggling with…. increasing wages to $15 per hour. The Federal minimum wage has been stuck at $7.25 since 2009. Prices and the cost of living have gone up since 2009. If businesses want to keep wages low at $7.25 per hour, then fine! Seriously, fine! Just don’t raise the costs of groceries, vehicles, houses, and other consumer products. Sounds fair to me! But no, the business wants to keep raising costs, but they don’t want to raise the wage to $15? Let them work for $7.25 per hour and see how they feel about the issue. $15 per hour would boost economic growth by providing more money to spend. Higher wages mean employers have more people to hire. By contrast, if an employer wants to pay low wages, then guess what (and it doesn't take a Harvard Economic degree to figure it out)? Few people apply to the business that pay low wages, and the employees that are there begin looking elsewhere for better wages. So, doesn’t that hurt the business that want to pay low wages? Uh, yeah! 🙃 Let’s talk about Henry Ford and his approach to DOUBLING wages at his factory in 1914… “In January 1914, Henry Ford started paying his auto workers a remarkable $5 a day. Doubling the average wage helped ensure a stable workforce and likely boosted sales since the workers could now afford to buy the cars they were making. It laid the foundation for an economy driven by consumer demand.” https://www.npr.org/2014/01/27/267145552/the-middle-class-took-off-100-years-ago-thanks-to-henry-ford#:~:text=In%20January%201914%2C%20Henry%20Ford,economy%20driven%20by%20consumer%20demand.

  15.  Chí Thiện Nguyễn  It is funny, you know. You raise all these things about wage increases, defunding the police, 2000% increase in Portland homicides, etc. but what are they doing in communist Vietnam to help the average worker keep pace with the rising costs of living? Police brutality exists in your country, so what are they doing about it over there in communist Vietnam??? Because, I really don't know. Your country keeps a tight lid on things over there. That is because the government owns and controls your media, TV, internet, etc. If it were not for free speech and free media in America, you wouldn't know anything that is going on over here. And just because you know, does not necessarily mean you understand. Heck, give me a YouTube link on the subject (I am use to you doing this by this pitiful point). Recall the video link of the guy that left the US to go to Vietnam. It was video #2 link. Did you watch video #1??? I did! The guy clearly stated that the communists took his father's property when they took control in 1976. Here, watch video #1 "Living in Vietnam #1" by Tai Zen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DsViX-uu17E&t=851s By the way, I noticed you are VERY silent when I brought up the stimulus checks that people in America received during the pandemic. Did you forget? Did you get one from your government? How about the free grant money to earn a college degree in America? Here is a few links on that topic as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfLl40TslC4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1pjYN4eSP1I

  20.  Chí Thiện Nguyễn  Another point I’d like to raise regarding your comment about “Portland homicides up by 2,000% because of defunding police.” Ok, first off, your reasoning on “cause and effect” in this statement is way off balance here; absolutely moronic of you. Policeman do not prevent homicides. Let me say that again for you, police officers do not prevent homicides from occurring. And you know why that is? This is because there are not enough police officers (even at full strength and pre-Portland craziness) to be present in every home, in every dark alley, on every street corner watching every person 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; it’s just not feasible. Otherwise, no homicides would occur anywhere. Just good ole fashioned common sense, Nguyen. I told you that you have much to learn about life at the tender age of 21 (you're probably still a virgin too). This is quite an insurmountable task even under ideal situations. There are more than 350,000,000 people in the U.S. (not counting persons here illegally). All told, there are approximately 1,000,000 police officials. That is 1 police officer for every 350 people, and this of often over vast distances. So, how are they going to stop the majority of homicides? Add to this fact that police officers do far more than just respond to and investigate homicides. They also handle damage to property complaints, noise complaints, stolen property, juvenile curfew complaints, investigating drug activity, and the list goes on. Police officers patrol areas and respond to calls for service. Sometimes (VERY rarely) they may be in a position to stop a murder, or provide life-saving care to a victim of a shooting/stabbing. But for the most part a police officer responds to a report of a gunshot victim, stabbing victim, and once on scene they first determine if the person can be saved. If so, they provide basic care until a fire rescue squad shows up to transport the victim(s) to the hospital. Either way if the victim is dead or hanging on to life, the police officer will document the crime scene, gather evidence, and then try to identify a suspect(s) and bring them to justice after probable cause has been determined that a certain person(s) are the culprits. And in any event, if the 200 (again, not 260 as you falsely claimed) did quit, then what do you think will happen? Simple, the county Sherriff’s Office or state police will come into Seattle to provide patrol service until Seattle hires more officers. Have you heard of Antifa??? You have heard of BLM, but what about Antifa? Antifa (anti-fascist) is comprised of people of YOUR calling. That’s right, they are far left (socialist) and or anarchists that oppose law and order. Note the communist red hammer on the shield of the Antifa guy at the forefront in the link below. https://www.nytimes.com/article/what-antifa-trump.html And the civil unrest that exploded in Portland in 2020? Who was in the White House when that happened (or was at his golf course most likely)??? Your boy Donald Bone Spurs Trump/5-time draft dodger. Yes, I have NEVER seen things in the USA as they were from 2016 - 2021 before Trump got elected (recall Jan. 6th incident at U.S. Capital). I have been around long enough to see presidents from both the republican and democratic parties and this is off the charts. And ever since Trump’s departure, things have calmed down bit. You see, Trump’s words promote chaos and discord. He is the one that far right group (Proud Boys) neo-Nazi groups and other whack jobs gravitate to in order to justify their conspiracy theories and support for their racism against blacks, Hispanics (and yes, even Asians). Trump is the first cult leader to ever be elected president. If communism is so great, then why aren’t other nations adopting it??? Can you answer that? If anything over time, your beloved communism is shrinking country by country. Allow me to make an example here to better conceptualize things for you: Suppose a certain city (doesn’t matter where in the world) has 4 grocery stores on the same street just a few hundred yards apart. Let’s say that store “A” is offering 40% off all of their products for the next 3 weeks, along with a free gallon of milk. Stores “B”, and “C” have reasonable prices, and their quality is just as good as store “A”, only without the sizable discount. Where do you think people in the city will go to shop for the next 3 weeks? I’ll make this really simple for you by using a multiple-choice format to answer this question: 1. Store “A” 2. Store “B” 3. Store “C” 4. All the above 5. None of the above 6. I’m a communist idiot who does not know the correct answer to this very difficult question. 7. I’d like to call my local communist party official for help to do my thinking for me to answer this question. Pick one answer (theme to the American game show Jeopardy playing in the background). And if you don’t know what that theme is, well: https://youtu.be/g3Kq1vURcL8?t=14 Now, to put this scenario and the right answer into perspective for you (man, I really do hope you selected choice 1). If America and other democratic countries are getting the highest number of immigrants, then wouldn’t it stand to reason that the democratic countries (particularly the U.S. and Canada) are the best “deal in town” that appeal to most people? And while I do not dispute that there are some that will move to Vietnam, it just is not reflective (or even comparable) to the sheer number of immigrants coming to democratic countries. I know that is a tough pill for you to swallow, but it is what it is. You can be absolutely certain that if you had the better opportunities in communist Vietnam, it would not just be a few people of Vietnamese heritage with a few family’s connections in Vietnam as the impetus for going back, no, you’d have tens of thousands (if not millions) of Americans of European stock. And a few expats here and there is not a big enough number to convince me that communism is the better choice. Far more Vietnamese still are coming to America by contrast. Businesses in democratic countries like to do business with communist countries because they can take advantage of the people due to the very low labor cost. And really it is communist and other third world countries that are making it difficult for better wages in America. The greedy billionaires in America would have to swallow their greed and pay better wages if they could not outsource their work overseas. This further supports my point that money and other resources (paid for by the American tax payer) need to be invested within our borders first foremost. By the way, did you get a few rounds of stimulus checks that most Americans received over the past several months??? 😉

  27.  Chí Thiện Nguyễn  Religious freedom in Vietnam??? Here: "The law, which will take effect on Jan. 1, 2018, regulates legal procedures and conditions regarding people's beliefs. Faith groups will be required to register with authorities and inform them of their activities with authorities having the right to approve or refuse." https://www.ucanews.com/news/vietnam-passes-controversial-law-on-religion/77714# Here is our Freedom: It is called the Bill of Rights: The First Amendment "The First Amendment provides several rights protections: to express ideas through speech and the press, to assemble or gather with a group to protest or for other reasons, and to ask the government to fix problems. It also protects the right to religious beliefs and practices. It prevents the government from creating or favoring a religion." The Second Amendment "The Second Amendment protects the right to keep and bear arms." The Third Amendment "The Third Amendment prevents government from forcing homeowners to allow soldiers to use their homes. Before the Revolutionary War, laws gave British soldiers the right to take over private homes." The Fourth Amendment "The Fourth Amendment bars the government from unreasonable search and seizure of an individual or their private property." The Fifth Amendment "The Fifth Amendment provides several protections for people accused of crimes. It states that serious criminal charges must be started by a grand jury. A person cannot be tried twice for the same offense (double jeopardy) or have property taken away without just compensation. People have the right against self-incrimination and cannot be imprisoned without due process of law (fair procedures and trials.)" The Sixth Amendment "The Sixth Amendment provides additional protections to people accused of crimes, such as the right to a speedy and public trial, trial by an impartial jury in criminal cases, and to be informed of criminal charges. Witnesses must face the accused, and the accused is allowed his or her own witnesses and to be represented by a lawyer." The Seventh Amendment "The Seventh Amendment extends the right to a jury trial in Federal civil cases." The Eighth Amendment "The Eighth Amendment bars excessive bail and fines and cruel and unusual punishment." The Ninth Amendment " The Ninth Amendment states that listing specific rights in the Constitution does not mean that people do not have other rights that have not been spelled out." The Tenth Amendment "The Tenth Amendment says that the Federal Government only has those powers delegated in the Constitution. If it isn’t listed, it belongs to the states or to the people."

  39.  Chí Thiện Nguyễn  Looks like the both of us are at a complete impasse here with this debate, wouldn’t you say? No matter what I say or what evidence I present here about the superiority of democracy over the communist way of life in Vietnam, you will never accept the reality. Guess we will both have to agree to disagree. The same can be said about your statements and opinions about this topic. No matter what you say/have said will convince me that communism in Vietnam provides a better life with more freedom than what is found in the U.S. No way you’ll ever convince me. You are simply too young and inexperienced at life to know better than me. Just think about it for a moment; in the year 2000 you were not able to wipe your own butt (probably still couldn’t perform this basic task by 2005), whereas I was already a grown man that had been out of High School for several years, served in the military, and had completed some college. And as one who has taken advantage of the opportunities here in America to advance my education (2 college degrees earned, with a 3rd one next year), I am in a much better place to evaluate which system of governance is better; you have no education or experience to match me. So, what some virgin boy at the tender age of 21 living at home with his parents (having never been out of your village, let alone your county), playing video games using Microsoft products, means that any opinion of yours is a complete joke and cannot be taken seriously. And you know how I know? Easy. Everything you have said over the last month does not even come close to the reality that I see every day, yes, days of freedom and opportunity that FAR exceed your little born yesterday lifetime. Your point about universal healthcare is a moot point to support communism. And guess why? Go on, take a guess, genius. While America does not have this universal healthcare standard, other democratic countries such as Canada, Denmark, Germany and France ALL have universal healthcare. So, it is not some great communist implemented strategy in communist Vietnam to serve their citizens with universal healthcare, democratic countries have this as well. Will America ever have universal healthcare? I don’t know. I know I have healthcare coverage through my job, and it that were not enough, I'd still have Veterans Affairs (VA) to cover me in a pinch. It certainly is not a “deal breaker” for me to consider leaving the U.S. to go live in some backwards communist society in Vietnam and earn a lower living standard, and have to watch what I say so that I am not put in prison. Besides, there are far too many people to provide the universal healthcare in the first place. Secondly, the vast majority of people in this country earn a very good wage, so why should they get it for free?? Should Jeff Bezos’s get free healthcare? Should Lebron James or Donald Trump get free healthcare? Lol. But then again, there is already a healthcare program for those that are poor; it’s called “Medicaid”, which provides health coverage to millions of Americans, including eligible low-income adults, children, pregnant women, elderly adults and people with disabilities. https://www.kff.org/medicaid/issue-brief/10-things-to-know-about-medicaid-setting-the-facts-straight/ So, there is no need for universal healthcare for all 350,000,000 (and rapidly growing) people in the U.S. Think about it for a second, would Madonna, Beyoncé, Jay Leno, Tom Brady, or Billy Ray Cyrus need access to free medical care with the large amount of money that they make??? Lol. You really need to learn how to think more pragmatically, Nguyen. Doctors in the U.S. make very good money compared to doctors in Vietnam (I know, I know, you’re going to claim that that is untrue, lol, You: “Vietnam has the best wages compared to the U.S.”, LOL!!!!!!). Sure, any you have the best dog stew too no doubt! LOL!!!!!!!! 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 🤣 , oh wait a second, BARFFFF 🤮 (wipes mouth with towel). Despite all your failed attempts to criticize America by exaggerating things about our economy, healthcare, etc., our way of life even if it were as bad and gloomy as you foolishly make it out to be (it is far from that), our way of life at its so-called “worst” would still be better than your very best living standard and opportunities in communist Vietnam. Lol. You: “Oh, we have more freedom because we can dance outside.” Newsflash, stupid….people dance outside here too in America. To summarize just a few of my points about our superior way of life in America compared to communist Vietnam: 1. Government Stimulus checks mailed out to those making less than $75,000 during the pandemic. 2. Pell Grants (money that does not have to be paid back) for students below a certain income to attend college and earn their first bachelor’s degree in whatever major they desire. 3. EBT and food assistance provided by the U.S. Government for poor people and the unemployed. 4. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide living quarters for those who are financially destitute. 5. Significantly higher living standard and wage earnings across careers in the U.S. 6. Right to protest 7. Right to criticize the government 8. Freedom to practice ANY religion without government interference. This one point all on its own is the very reason why our great nation exists in the first place. And if you don’t know what I am talking about, go read up on this cool historical topic called “The Reformation” and figures such as Martin Luther, Jan Hus, Jerome of Prague. Religious intolerance in Europe was the starting point for what would later become religious freedom in America. And this notion of freedom led to other freedoms as well, such as free speech, freedom of the press, the right to file grievance against the government. Yes, a right to be heard! 9. We have a stronger economy as well. 10. Safer food regulations to ensure food (especially meat and dairy) are stored and handled in a manner that does not cultivate harmful bacteria. 11. Better rights for the work industry to ensure a safe working environment for all workers (OSHA). 12. Unions to represent workers to advocate for better benefits and wages! HOORAY!!! 13. Medicaid coverage to provide healthcare coverage for the poor (yeah, Clint Eastwood, Chris Rock, and your good ole buddy John Cena do not need free healthcare coverage; they all have loads of cash).

  40.  Chí Thiện Nguyễn  Do you realize how delusional and pathetic you are? You are in complete denial of the facts and reality to the extreme. Your little 21 years of life on the planet in a communist country that tells you what to think illustrates that you don’t have a clue about what you are talking about. As for me? I have said it before and I’ll say it again for you (at the risk of sounding like a broken record player), with two (2) college degrees behind me and a third degree by 2023, AND add the fact that I have lived twice your life span, it would be safe to say that I am much more qualified to know what is and what is not freedom. As an American that has lived twice as long as you, I know full well what freedom is. I can write disparaging and unflattering comments about my government, our leaders, and their policies if I so desire. And you know what? Nobody with a badge is going to come and put me in prison for it. As a matter of fact, I wrote something at the beginning of this video’s comment section about how my government needs to stop sending money and resources to other nations (I am against this). Also, I am free to pick up a copy of a newspaper or magazine knowing that the government didn’t write the material. No, a news correspondent and their team of editors covered a story and presented their findings. Often these stories contain content that the government would find embarrassing to politicians. No such freedom exists at all in Vietnam, NONE at all. Your government (regardless if you want to embrace reality and admit it or not) will always censor any material that they deem unflattering about their socialist society and their policies. In America the internet is NOT owned by the government. There are approximately 2,774 internet service providers in the U.S. As for Vietnam, they have a mere 5 internet providers (all strictly regulated by the communist government). Look, your reasoning and critical thinking skills are imbecilic to the extreme. There is no way in hell that you are going to convince me (or anyone in a free democratic society) that life in a communist country has more freedom than a democracy. That is just plain ludicrous to say the least; you’re totally divorced from reality. A better education system than the U.S.???? LOL!!!! Better wages and opportunities than in America??? MORE LOL!!!!! A better hospital network than America?? Oh, boy you are one naïve individual at the extreme limits of blind stupidity. I almost feel sorry for you (almost that is). And you know what? Any Vietnamese person working in Information Technology for what would be the U.S. equivalency of less than $35,000 per year is not getting paid what they are worth. Perhaps this is because the training, equipment, and technology is more sophisticated in the U.S. than it is in communist Vietnam. Heck, our nation is the one that pioneered the whole concept of the internet and information technology; you guys sure didn’t. You’re just “riding coattails” on what we have already accomplished in the U.S. There is greater diversity for places to travel to, or if one wishes, move to. From warm tropical climates to winter landscapes, and mountainous alpine climates, there is something for everyone. You can post all the goofy YouTube links that you seem to foolishly believe are relevant and support your points, but I got news for you, boy; YouTube videos are not authoritative sources for proving a point. Try a “.org” source or something. When you get a college level education, you’ll see what I am saying about the importance of citing sources. If you try to use YouTube or Wikipedia as a base for your narratives, people will soon be convinced that you are a moron. Quite a few Americans own more than one car, have a home (sometimes more than one of those as well), a boat, and a 401k through their employer. Some of our lowest paying jobs are better than most of your good paying jobs in Vietnam. Just the way it is. We are a nation of prosperity that has been on the world stage for a lonnnnng time. And it is clear that we will not be leaving the world stage anytime soon. You can choose to remain jealous if you like, or you can curse communism and move to the U.S. for the abundance of opportunities. I see you have said nothing more about the Innocence Project that I have brought to your attention a few times. Executing 435 people a year in communist Vietnam compared to 35 persons executed in the United States is quite revealing about the fairness about sentencing criminals. With that large number of executions in your country, it is safe to say you have a much higher degree of getting it wrong. In America, when someone is sentenced to death, they are entitled to an appeals process. So, in other words it could take around 20 years before someone is executed. Oh yeah, in America, we do not have kin liability like they do in communist countries. You know, where the government wants to prosecute you, but if they can’t get you, they will come after your family and put them in camps instead. So yeah, tell me (as I asked you before) about your “great” retirement benefits and 401k plans in communist Vietnam. Communist Vietnam is not known for high ratings regarding respect for human rights. And you know what? It is like that in all communist countries. Here is a fitting example of the oppression that exists in communist Vietnam: “Constitutional guarantees of due process are generally not upheld. Defendants have a legal right to counsel, but lawyers are scarce, and many are reluctant to take on cases involving human rights or other sensitive topics. Defense lawyers do not have the right to call witnesses, and often report insufficient time to meet with their clients. In national security cases, police can detain suspects for up to 20 months without access to counsel.” https://freedomhouse.org/country/vietnam/freedom-world/2020 Not so in America. A defendant has a constitutionally guaranteed right to have an attorney represent them through each phase of the judicial process, and they have the right to call witnesses to testify on their behalf. Another cool thing is this process called a Miranda Right, and police MUST advise a defendant of this right prior to custodial interrogation. If the police fail to do this (intentionally or otherwise), well then, the defendant’s statements will not be used against them in court. If a defendant can’t afford an attorney in America, one will be provided at no cost to a defendant that has declared indigency. Doesn’t get anymore democratic than that, and that is freedom.

Here are four factors that ultimately connects to Vietnam’s hunger problem: High Poverty Rates: The issue of hunger ultimately roots to the high rates of poverty in Vietnam. According to the U.N., Vietnam has around 9 million citizens, or 9.8% of the entire population, who live in extreme poverty. The statistics of those facing hunger mirror the percentage of citizens in poverty. Issues with the Education System: The VN Express International News, or the most viewed Vietnam newspaper, reports that the key to combating poverty is providing an equal opportunity for an education to children of all backgrounds. According to a report provided by Oxfam in 2018, only 3.1% of the population were college-level graduates in Vietnam. As a result, the same research discovered that only one-fifth of Vietnam’s young adults occupy a different job from their parents. Without the proper higher education, the majority of those in poverty remain in the endless labor-working cycle that their parents lived through. Imbalanced Income and Spending: The Vietnam Briefing, a website that provides insights on doing business in Vietnam, reports that the average monthly spending of a Vietnam citizen is VND 6.5 million, or $280 USD. However, the citizens’ monthly income is on average only VND 4.6 million, or $197.8 USD. Due to this issue, most people have to work overtime to make ends meet. Agriculture: Vietnam is one of the top five countries that faces environmental challenges. Due to this problem, rice production has experienced negative impact. The United States predicts that Vietnam’s rice paddy production will drop 3.3% in 2020 because of its droughts and incidents of saltwater intrusion. In the Central Highlands, coffee production also declines frequently due to intensive droughts. The food production rate affects the percentage of Vietnam citizens facing hunger." https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/texas-enters-2021-as-worlds-9th-largest-economy-by-gdp-301216400.html ^^^^”Tiers” of joy, lol! 42.  Chí Thiện Nguyễn  Did you go riding on your Moped again today? Bundle up, cupcake! It could rain on Tuesday. Must be nice living at home with mom and dad, who in turn live with one of your grandparents. They need all the help they can get though. You know, since none of you make more than $400 U.S. dollars for the entire month. That’s right, so-called “poor” people in Mississippi and West Virginia will average $24,700 (568,100,000.00 dong), and you know what? They don’t have to eat cats and dogs to survive. They also don’t have to ride gay mopeds, and eat rice with every single meal, every single day! LOL!!!! Their oral hygiene is better too. So, go get on your little moped, Nguyen, and find a cozy little diner on some dirty street corner in your poor fishing village that will fix you up a warm meal of dog meat served on white rice (of course, lol), and have some Nuoc Mam Cham to drizzle on your dog meat, lol!!! Nguyen, you squeaky high-pitched voice, scrawny lightweight, with big rotten, brown teeth. LOL!!!! Eat rice with everything, right? LOL I’ll bet you have fast food businesses that specialize in cat and dog meat. Is there Dog-fil-A in town? Lol. Perhaps a Burger Dog fast food chain in your rat-infested, little hole in the ground of a town? Lol. Here, read another article. This one shows how the democratic U.S. is/was helping poor Vietnam with a 5-year plan. If it were up to me, you guys would get NOTHING unless you gave up communism and accepted democracy. https://borgenproject.org/facts-about-poverty-in-vietnam/ Note the part where they stated, “The United States has been strategizing with Vietnam to transform it into a more sustainable developing country and partner. A five-year plan was developed in 2014 where $86 million is being allocated to improve trade, grow the private sector and develop higher education.” Because I got to tell ya, it is not like America owes anything to Vietnam for our prosperity and position on the world stage. Chomp on that fact, little jealous, communist weasel. We are successful and you are not. You even envy Taiwan (as you should too), they have it much better than you do in communist Vietnam. Down with communism! Yes, with each passing decade more and more communist countries are giving up their outdated and oppressive system. Democracy? More and more countries are adopting our system. And you know why? It has been going strong for more than 200 years with no sign of ever letting up. “A LONG-TERM BATTLE: REMAINING CAUSES OF POVERTY IN VIETNAM” https://borgenproject.org/remaining-causes-of-poverty-in-vietnam/ From this article: “With Vietnam having emerged as a lower middle-income country in 2010, all eyes are turned to its economy. Historically, almost all of Vietnam’s production has been handled by its government, weakening its private sector.” ^^^What does that say? “lower middle-income country in 2010” and the root cause? YOUR government, since it controls EVERYTHING. Facts are facts, Nguyen. America is one of the wealthier counties on the planet, and has been this way before 2010. I mean, look at all that trash being hauled by the guy on a MOPED in the picture of that article!!!! LOL!!!!! Roach infested, filthy sheets. He hauls it like it is gold! For us? That stuff is ready for the trash heap or burn pile. Since I know that you are well aware of the fact that you will NEVER convince me of the same brainwashed propaganda that your government has instilled in you about the so-called "superiority of communism", I think at this point it is not me that you are trying to convince, no, rather you are trying to convince yourself. Because, I really don’t care if you like America or democracy or not. You can continue to live in abject poverty and lack of freedom, and I’ll continue to enjoy both economic prosperity, home ownership, and drive my car (yeah, not a gay, little moped) and continue to reap the benefits of the good life here in the U.S. And you know what? The 2.2 million Vietnamese that live in the U.S. will continue to enjoy a much higher standard of living. A living that does not put them in the position to eat cats and dogs.

  46.  Chí Thiện Nguyễn  You could save yourself all that pointless typing by just saying that you do not know how to support your point(s) that prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that communism is better than democracy. Admit it, you can’t do it. Communism is a worthless political mechanism that is fading with each decade, while democracy has only grown in popularity amongst nations . Government ownership of property (communist system) does not promote the best in human rights opportunities, and it does not promote the maximum benefit for people to build their own way to success. To support this point, we have FAR more billionaires and millionaires than you could ever hope to compare to. Even our poor live as high a standard as your middle class. It is clear that you are insanely jealous of the success that has been America for over 245 years. You can’t match the GDP of Texas, let alone the entire U.S. Just facts, dude, just facts. Your society can not match our level of technology, or our higher standard of living. In fact, you guys are STILL waiting to go to the moon! Lol. Been there done that in July of 1969. “All of the World’s Wealth in One Visualization” https://www.visualcapitalist.com/all-of-the-worlds-wealth-in-one-visualization/ In this ^^^^ article, it shows the USA at the top spot, which comes as no surprise. As for Vietnam? You guys are even behind Indonesia and Singapore, lol. You will also notice that (with the exception of China), all the top economic heavy hitters in the world are democratic countries (you can't deny this reality). You can cry “fake” and “exaggerated” `all you want, but that won’t make it less true! Lol. Yes, for you young Nguyen, delusion can be its own prison. But if it makes you feel a little better, communist Vietnam is ahead of the Philippines (though not by more than a hair). By contrast, Mexico is way ahead of you, and you know what? People from Mexico are cramming our southern border on a near constant basis. And you know why? Better opportunities in America. If it were not for the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans, we’d have a very serious crisis with people trying to get into our country through two more lengthy borders. Again, facts are facts. Thankfully, Canada’s citizens are content with their brand of democracy, so they are not trying to cross our borders, and likewise we are not trying to cross their borders. But if you want to go on daydreaming about the brainless notion of communism as the ultimate solution to society, and Vietnam as the world economic superpower, then you are free to walk about blindly in the land of delusion trying to find your way in the so-called “utopian society” where there is plenty for all (yeah, plenty of poverty that is). This is just a perfect example of your lack of education and life experience, along with your tender, virgin age of 21. You have been a man for a mere 3 years, which is hardly enough time to know anything about life in your own country, let alone grasp an understanding of an advanced country like America that you have never been to. As for one of your earlier comments about “why a severe shortage of truck drivers”, well who ever said there was a crisis? I have close ties to the retail industry, so if what you say is true, then I should see empty shelves at all the stores, and I should see gas stations with no gas available for sale for lack of truck drivers (which, none of that is the case). I can drive down the highway and see any number of 18 wheelers hauling their load. If you meant to say that there is a need for more truck drivers, well then yes. After all, online shopping has skyrocketed during the pandemic, which means more shipments need to go out due to the increased demand for shipping online orders. And if your backwards country is experiencing an increase to online sales, then you too are experiencing a shortage of truck drivers. Yes, drivers that make FAR less compared to their American counterparts. And a severe shortage of truck drivers (even if that were true), how would that prove that communism is better than democracy? How would a communist society prevent a shortage of truck drivers????? Put a gun to a guy’s head and order him to drive a truck??? Threaten a trucker in Vietnam with imprisonment for his family if he does not comply and drive???? Go on and tell me, Nguyen (since you think you know everything and have many years of life experience, lol, sarcasm). In America, you can choose to work whatever career you want. And if someone happens to be a truck driver and they want to quit to pursue some other career opportunity, well guess what? They are more than free to do so and quit if they like. With the wages that truck drivers in America make, there is no shortage of ambitious young men (and women too) ready to step up and drive a truck. ` You need the U.S. FAR MORE than the U.S. needs Vietnam. We can do without you, whereas you can’t do without America. Like, what do we really need communist Vietnam for? Coffee as you once brought up? Hello then to our friends in Brazil and Columbia for all our coffee needs, lol. Starbucks wouldn’t miss a beat with Vietnam out of the coffee exporting picture, believe me. You lose again, Nguyen.

  48.  Chí Thiện Nguyễn  She is smarter than you in any event (thanks to that quality American education). lol Look, stop dancing around the issue and tell me how America would be better off with a communist government???? It is not that hard of a question, since you "know everything" from your extensive years of experience of 21 years on this planet (sarcasm) lol. Let me dummy it down for you: If the American government went full commie next year; they do away with the Bill of Rights, free speech, Government owns and controls everything, no work unions, low wages, etc., how would that make America a greater economic superpower than it is already??? If that happened, I can absolutely guarantee you that the American southern border crisis would do a 180! Mexicans would stop coming, and American's would be running for Mexico! And 2.2 million Vietnamese would be heading out of America. If anything, these folks know from first hand experience about communism. So, come on Mr. "Know-it-all", tell me how a communist society in America would be so darn great? You can't answer that, can you? My second question: Tell me how if Vietnam went to a democratic state (right to criticize the government, free speech, freedom of religion, employment unions, better wages, etc.) how that would be detrimental to Vietnam?? So far, all you have shown me are examples of American's exercising what you DON'T have; that is free speech. You won't get that from anyone in Vietnam, and you know why? They would rather keep quiet rather than go to prison (or worse).

  50.  Chí Thiện Nguyễn  As I said before, what you need to keep in mind is that subjective opinions do not carry the same weight as objective facts when proving a hypothesis (or what you wish was true). So far, you have attempted (albeit repeatedly in vain) to convince me of the superiority of communism over capitalism using only this person or that person’s opinion on YouTube. Sure, I can find as many people who think vanilla ice cream is absolutely nauseatingly disgusting (doesn’t necessarily mean that it is though). Likewise, the 4 or 5 people on YouTube that made statements that you believe supports your point means nothing when weighted against my own personal experience of living here in the U.S. for more than 40 years. By contrast, there are plenty of people in Vietnam that would like to complain, but, oh yeah, they can't post a negative statement about your oppressive government, or they go to jail! lol. So, I guess we will never know to what level of discontentment there is there in Vietnam. I really have no complaints about the democratic process that I have lived under. I can say what I want about my government, our officials, and complain or praise as I see fit. And while I do not posit that democracy in America is flawless, I do believe that it is the best option on the planet until someone comes up with a better political option, and communism is certainly NOT the better option. A constitutional monarchy would be my second pick. Communism is an outdated political and economic philosophy. Sure, its basic social philosophy sounds good and all, but from a standpoint of economics it is an abject failure in practice. Communism entails a classless system in which the means of production are owned communally and private property is nonexistent or severely curtailed. Communist China has become quite successful due to the fact that they have incorporated many of the economic principles of capitalism, heck, they are communist in name only it would seem. All they need to do is get rid of the restrictive position on freedom of speech and religion. Read the following excerpt from Investopedia: Why Did Communism Fail? While there has been extensive study of the reasons for communism's failure, researchers have pinpointed a couple of common factors that contributed to its demise. The first is an absence of incentives among citizens to produce for profit. The profit incentive leads to competition and innovation in society. But an ideal citizen in a communist society was selflessly devoted to societal causes and rarely stopped to think about his or her welfare. "At all times and all questions a party member should give first consideration to the interests of the Party as a whole and put them in the foremost and place personal matters and interests second," wrote Liu Shaoqi, the second chair of the People's Republic of China. The second reason for communism's failure was the system's inherent inefficiencies, such as centralized planning. This form of planning requires aggregation and synthesis of enormous amounts of data at a granular level. Because all projects were planned centrally, this form of planning was also complex. In several instances, growth data was fudged or error-prone in order to make facts fit into planned statistics and create an illusion of progress. The concentration of power into the hands of select few also bred inefficiency and, paradoxically enough, provided them with incentives to game the system for their benefit and retain their hold on power. Corruption and laziness became endemic features of this system and surveillance, such as the one that characterized East German and Soviet societies, was common. It also disincentivized industrious and hard-working people. The end result was that the economy suffered. https://www.investopedia.com/terms/c/communism.asp Think about it, Nguyen? Where is your Wall Street????lol Another loss for you, young Nguyen. By the way, how long do you want to go back and forth with me on here? I know I have asked you this several time on here with no reply from you. You want to go 2 more months? 5 years? 20??? Yes, you are required to answer this. The term “brainwashing” is synonymous with totalitarian regimes like communist Vietnam. A coercive system that keeps the truth from people, and then tells them what to believe or make them face lengthy imprisonment if they disagree (no free speech = communist Vietnam). Not so in America. There is no “brainwashing” because there is free speech and free press that allows people to form their own opinions. And a nation of opinionated people we are! Plus, there are different political parties in America that compete with each other for the votes. This process alone ensures that no one gets “brainwashed.” Your oppressive regime on the other hand? Lol. One party, one way of thought, and every citizen in Vietnam had better be on the same thoughts as the government or off to prison (or the grave) they go! Lol, yet you consider that system of governance as “freer” than the U.S., lol. You’ll brainwash yourself LONG before you convince me of so much as a single iota that communism is better than democracy. You’ll never succeed, Nguyen. My level of educational achievements, along with my lifespan of nearly double your little virgin 21 years of life means you can’t prevail against me on this debate. Look, I would STRONGLY recommend that you find someone outside of your little mud hut in the fishing village that is better educated and possessing more life experience than you do to argue your foolish hypothesis for you. Because quite frankly, you suck at applying any semblance of logic to real world situations.
