How would the man know if she took a sleeping pill, or if she took an aspirin or even blood pressure medication??? Simple, he doesn't. He's likely not a pharmacist or even a close family friend to know what health issue(s) she may be dealing with. And from the officer's perspective, the fact that the man included "I don't know" in his response, should cause some doubt in the officer's mind as to whether or not this man even knows what talking about. If I were the officer, I'd ask the man how he knows for sure that it was a sleeping pill she took.
