  1. Instead of funding a solution that doesn't work for anyone, fund these people at the place of their origin to solve their problems locally. But I guess all those NGOs will be left without their "customers" and will subsequently lose their EU/State funding, so that ain't happening! P.S. BTW the fact that the vast majority of them end up in places with a generous welfare state says a lot in itself. If safety was an issue they would have all remained in Turkey, but not, they travel through every other place to end up to welfare state benefits.
