@JoJo-vg8dz Communism first allied with Hitler (Ribbentrop-Molotov non aggression pact ) and both invaded Poland then when Hitler broke the deal and attacked Stalin (leaving the latter in disbelief for a week or so - until he got his confirmation that his buddy Hitler actually attacked him) they had to depend on the lend-lease program that the US unleashed to aid the Soviet Union (giving them huge amount of resources in arms, ammunition, food, military vehicles, airplanes, fuel, supplies, etc, etc) otherwise they would be doomed. In fact the first wave of Soviet defenders were so under-armed that they waited for their comrades to get killed to get their weapons (and sometimes even boots) to carry the battle! Try again to read some history on your own comrade because what you have been told is nonsense!

@spb4455 what in the world are you talking about! "Kulaks" were named all those who opposed the regime and everything you wrote was just a poor excuse to displace and kill them (read Snyder's version of the Holomodor - it was a planned famine to kill kulaks and his sources were the briefly open to the public Soviet archives)!

@ Absolute, unashamed and utter nonsense! You taught in universities? Figures! What were your sources? The Great Soviet Encyclopedia (which I actually own)? Have you ever visited communist countries under an active communist regime? I have and once was a guest of a diplomatic mission in one. Stayed for quite some time. You have no idea what you are talking about!
