  2. Too much work for nonsense! Bodies are not unrealistic (by definition) they are just a functional model after which everyone can exert his efforts to reach the limit of their own genetics. If you want to poison yourself and risk death at a young age, shoot steroids. Be my guest. The problem is, genetics is king and just like not all bodies are suitable for the NBA, body aesthetics can be faked up to a point. When you exceed your natural capacity, nature bites back. A lie can't grow too tall or travel very far! P.S. The idea that aesthetics are subjective and cultural-dependent is nonsense! The ancient Greeks knew that symmetry and mathematical ratios can accurately predict aesthetic value. Their statues weren't done by luck! Cultures distort the ancient Greek ideal through their own cultural distortion filters. Their seemingly subjective take on aesthetics doesn't mean they are not wrong! They are, just as, most of them, are wrong on the moral rules and values they follow (and ultimately determine their functional success).
