actually Kyle, those are some beautiful chickens. They look happy out there with you, scratching around amongst the fall leaves, for bugs and things. Looking for to more cabin progress too! thanks for sharing. Camarillo grammy. So Calif.

That pup is so so silly, and he sure does love the snow. And then there is the kitty. You have not mentioned the chickens. Are they keeping warm too? Beautiful snow storm. Love watching your videos. Camarillo Grammy

Kyle, I love it when your Dad comes. Also, love the ducks; so cute they are; And your chickens are so beautiful to me. Nice to see them out free ranging. Love their colors and their nice plump bodies and their small clucking noises. sweet chickens. God Bless you and the two pups. Nice to see your Dad's Springer as well.

yes, the chicken coop definitely needs some help; an outside screened area for them if they are going to be happy at all! also, you will want a cover built over your porch area and some trim work on the outside of the cabin, once you get the inside like you want it! its looking really nice Kyle and all your fans are really proud of you! Camarillo grammy! (So Calif)

I feel happy, Kyle, about your addition. You did a really nice job! Pretty chickens!

Exciting Kyle, watching this build! I look forward to the floor!

Hello Kyle. I have watched your videos and several others where you and they are "winter camping". I am an old granny, so obviously I could not get behind winter camping, but I truly do not understand how or why a person would want to camp in the snow and spend so much time alone in the wilderness. It seems so miserable to me, but you are young and very smart and remind me of my grandsons, and I love watching your videos and I love that beautiful dog. Thank you for sharing your life and values with all of us.

We are surely going to keep watching your videos Kyle, so keep on keeping on. There is something so calming about watching that I'm sure many folks enjoy. God Bless you both, and that good dog and sweet kitty. Love from Camarillo, California.

@brohon8788 yes, deer, (rabbits LOVE fresh sprouted gardens, even flowers) and any other hungry wildlife will devour your garden.
4
Yes, I think I have seen many set-ups where the batteries are outside in some kind of enclosed thingie (to keep weather off) and then you don't have the venting issue! Also, I am concerned about no lock on the door to the new cabin! Why is that? You are leaving for several days and Cierra is there? with no locking door? hummmnnn! Also, have your chickens got their roosting bars established in the coop? And what about their outside area? I need a status report on all this because I am your Camarillo grammy and we grammies worry about our kids! Sorry.
4
WHATAMESS Kyle! Wow, you are really brave!
4
also add coffee grounds, and ash from your stove.
3
ALSO, coffee grounds.

Skeeter be the man!

Kind of you Austin to greet me! I am in Southern California. My Gram was born in North Carolina! A long long time ago!
3
I have been to Fort Bragg for a parachute meet! I was born in Iowa!
3
Kyle ... the deer said they prefer Poppy Seed dressing on their salads. So, you may want to just leave a little ice chest out there by the garden with a nice bottle of cool salad dressing for them. :) Camarillo Grammy

expressing positive remarks does not make one a hater. Even negative remarks do not make a hater, even though people toss the 'hater" expression around as if it means nothing at all!
2
not for him, I'll bet!
2
kool! watch out for that bear .... and kiss Skeeter on the lllliiiippps for me!
2
Gosh, I hope that while you were cleaning things, you cleaned the chickens waterer. That thing looked Way nasty! Just sayin’
2
as previously or subsequently suggested. SEVERAL times.
2
a nice tree branch will do for that Kyle ! the sooner the better! smiling!!!!!
2
hey Ron, did you see the video?
2
@KYLESCABIN yes, a lot of Utubers do not answer comments ever! its like talking to the wind! Camarillo grammy!
2
@dper1112 nor do they in the burbs or the city for that matter. Nor will they keep the bears out. I suppose one could just push the chest freezer in front of the door, if they have it yet. or on the other hand, just keep the 30 aught 6 nearby, or the magnum 44. is that even a gun? maybe Cierra will just go stay with her mom. with the dog, or is the dog going hunting? so many questions, so few answers.
2
that was some COWBOY coffee, and Kyle does love his coffee! i'll bet it was some strong stuff.
2
yup. have seen it done in other utubers videos. It seem complicated tho, doesn't it?
2
Inconveniently perhaps, but like all the other comments, you are definitely gonna need some electrified fencing so that your garden is for you and not for the wildlife. Also, big enuf to allow the chickens to roam inside of it. I once lived out in the open in a desert area of Southern California, and planted corn and gladiolas. The rabbits ate them CLEAN to the ground and then ate the BULBS which were UNDER the ground. Clean as a whistle. Once the deer and/or rabbits find your gardens, .... they will say "thank you for the breakfast"!
2
Kyle! The cabin gets cuter and cuter what with all the homey touches you have added; and your chickens are all so beautiful! I hope they all survive nicely. I like the new nesting boxes. I’ll be glad to see the straw go in! Kiss Skeeter and the kitty on the lips for me. This is your “no-Panny Granny from Camarillo CA. (So. Cal)
2
awesome trip Kyle; Cierra and Skeeter. Skeeter be the MAN!
2
way kool, Kyle. nice cabin! you did good.
1
that turtle will eat your garden!
1
what an interesting video Kyle. Nice to see you with your Dad and the pups. You were both pretty patient about slogging around in all that water. The fish looked delish! As did the fried taters. This is your Camarillo, CA grammy (So Cal.) Blessings to you all! Kiss the pup on the lips for me.:chillwdog:

omy gosh yes. I was thinking that as well. I do have a Keurig, however, but never realized the over deserved power it drags down. There is "french-press", all one needs is a couple cups of boiling water; there is percolate, there is drip coffee, and God knows, there is always "cowboy coffee". I would go for an alternative. Kyle loves his coffee tho! So, I'm sure he will find a better solution.
1
may? may have to? how about WILL HAVE TO!
1
the deer will be feasting, then Cierra and Kyle will go to the market and buy some salad greens. UNLESS, Kyle puts up his fence really quickly!
1
I like the look of the new land. Nice and flat and open, lovely trees. Should be lots of fun for you and the dawg. And the little woman, as my son in law calls his wife! 🤓
1
at the MOMENT, nothing!

Patricia: young people don't have to pee at night!
1
@carolynberry5465 she IS crazy. I would never be able to do what she does. Even if I was still young enuf to do it, which I am not!. Youth flies away really fast.
1

No nonsense Kyle! smart and handsome to boot! I just love Skeeter, sitting in the new bedroom, thinking! I would so like to know what he was thinking as you were talking to him about his new bedroom!
1
