@qrsx66 , your poor European analogy shows you don't know much about European history. Let a European educate you a bit. Romanians and Spanish are not ethnically related, while Uyghurs and Turks have both the same Turkic ethnic origin. If you've ever heard about Panturkism movement, you'd know that Turkey in the framework of that movements lays claim to Uyghur lands too and I repeat, it's a claim based on common ethnic origins.Try harder with analogies, buddy, reading a few books on European history might help.

@thomasaustirol9900 , just as an FYI, Stalin died in March '53. He could've hardly reduced the minimum age for the death sentence for a revolt happening 3 years after his death. He was powerful, true, but hardly a Nostradamus, quite the opposite.

In my experience and I speak only for myself, turks have one of the most toxic patriotism on the net. I've questioned even the most liberal and educated of them, and hardly one in ten even admitted that armenian genocide took place and even then they would offer the most ridiculous excuses on why they had (!) to do what they'd done. It's as if they have no shame, no shame at all. Mind you, I've met very very decent Turks too, the stronger is the contrast with the rest of them, though.

@qrsx66 , remind me, please, which countries declared war on Israel the next day Israel proclaimed the foundation of the state instead of helping their fellow arabs create a new and prosperous Palestinian state as UN wanted? Needless to say, those mighty and proud countries outnumbering the israelis in manpower hundred to one got their butts whipped in a most spectacular manner. You asked for it, you got it aplenty.
