Honestly halfway thru this and Respectfully many somewhat terrible questions, no disrespect intended but I can’t believe you l you wasted time on questions few get the opportunity to ask that can easily be answered with he said/she said” responses and “”that’s not my memory”. Will you have this opportunity again? If so I’d love to help you craft better questions and maybe even practice asking them in a way that slowly expose your skepticism to encourage a feeling of safety and increase the chances of him slipping up…leaving room to deliberately dial up the heat at another point that you control as a back pocket to change up the tempo when beneficial and not a moment needle before. Also there’s no benefit to calling things he said or did ridiculous to his face. You want him to be feeling safe enough to say ridiculous things, and ideally to not even be cognizant of it, so you can ask questions with precise answers and have him not feeling defensive and willing to bury himself.
