Dude I am an American and have no stake on the matter but your speech says more about Ukraine than Canada. I cannot imagine a total stranger asking me about my daughter or my private life. Normally English speaking folks don't talk about their salaries. I'll give you that Canada is horrendously expensive but not more than the UK or even Russia. Gas in Canada is ridiculous how expensive it is. Groceries not that far behind. I was recently in Nova Scotia and a gallon of milk would be about $6 here in the US about $2

You have a point there. From an Eastern European point of view the entire story may change its message. For us Americans pretty much everything in Canada is more expensive. Fuel is unreal how expensive it is. From car rentals to groceries everything is way more expensive. Someone said that it depends on the province but I disagree. For an American regardless which province the cost of living is substantially more expensive than down here. Good video there.

@Dorian If you were to do the math you'd see that it is not quite right what you say here. Canada is way better than the US in social aspects. We have none of these social programs. If our employer doesn't offer med ins we are in dire straights as to buy it privately it will be in excess of $1,200 per month. Dental is another exorbitant cost. But we get to chose what we are paying for. Your taxes gives the gov the rights to decide where your money goes. We are talking cosmetics. I'd pay your taxes if we could guarantee that we would not have Trump in the White House. In Canada you have way less crazies, crime and disturbed officials (ieTrumponians). What you call rough people up there is what we call regular folks down here. I just saw a video about your jails and inmates life style, dude that is motel 8 in the US. If the cost of living in Canada were lower you'd be several folds better than the US to live.

Food in the US and Canada is the same. I have lived in Canada (Montreal for 4 years). The quality and requirements are about the same. The milk that you buy in Canada went under the same rules as the US. Our countries are very similar in almost all aspects except in Canada you know how to vote and don't put crap like Trump in power. Hahaha

Still $3.29 versus $1.96 ON milk but booze is another story how ridiculously expensive it is in Canada. Julian since you live near the border is it OK for you to cross the border to fill up your tank or is it frown upon to do? Housing I hear it is way cheaper up there. BTW in smaller stores in Canada they were exchanging 1 US dollar for 1 CA dollar, haha
