So how much will hit cost the budget and how will you pay for it? Get that right and it’s not a bad idea, as long as it’s means tested.

@ Aged care is already means tested, so I’m not sure what your rant was about.

@ At approximately 6% of the federal budget and considering that 16% of the population is over 65 the monies allocated seem reasonable to me. I’m a self funded retiree who will never receive any public monies for aged care, but am perfectly happy to support the less fortunate.
