@thepaedophileprofit3062 Smallpox and rabies

@thepaedophileprofit3062 Yes you are right they are different but often used in language synonymously. A vaccine is a thing and inoculation the action, but that doesn't change the fact that prior to WWI both a smallpox and rabies vaccine existed. Louis Pasteur developed the rabies vaccine around 1885 and the smallpox vaccine by Edward Jenner around 1796. I was a soldier for 35 years and never deployed unless I had a shitload of vaccines pumped into me. It never worried me, nor have I had any long term side effects, a sore arm occasionally but that's it.

@thepaedophileprofit3062 I haven't forgotton anything I merely offered up two examples of vaccines existing prior to WWI in answer to your question, I mentioned nothing about their efficacy or general use or use by the military in WWI. These are all strawman comments and a logical fallacy in argumentation. Both the rabies and smallpox treatments at the times I mentioned under the strict definition of what a vaccine is qualify. Yes in defence of my country I was prepared for personal sacrifice however I was never forced to submit to a vaccination I always had a choice. I never suggested the Australian public are subject to or should be subject mandatory vaccine injections. These are furher strawman arguments leading to a conclusion or final statement by you that is a non sequitur and in context to the answer I gave rendering your reply completely fallacious. No, coronaviruses really only emerged around 2000 with SARS and MERS neither of which we managed to develop a vaccine for and not all the vaccines developed for Covid19 proved to be effective ie Queensland Universitys attempt fell over. The ones that are available all have different levels of efficacy, side effects, depending on the person, age group, and other variables. The technology in the mRNA vaccines while seeming new has been known and reserached for over 25 years, it is not something they just came up with in the last year or so.

@thepaedophileprofit3062 Yes I should have been more general about and less specific with corona viruses I was commenting more about human interaction with corona viruses. There are thousands of the buggars out there and we discovered them back in the 30's. So yes who knows how long they have been out there. This minor lack of information on my part still does not validate your response to my simple and totally accurate reply that vaccines existed prior to WWI. Again I made no comment on about WWI diggers being in any line for any vaccines, I merely pointed out factually that they existed. Once again your reply to that factually correct statement was nonsensical. I suspect now it was not a genuine question but rhetorical. I think your being a bit over dramatic about our governments both federal and state from both sides of politics ripping apart and destroying society. Many people have lost jobs a businesses have fallen over and that is terrible, but we have suffered far less than most of the rest of the world.
