As are virtually all advisory bodies to government. Your point is fallacious nonsensical garbage. Who elected the Governor of the Reserve bank or the head of the productivity commission or the Chief of the Defence force, or the chief justice of the High court.

@positivepawpaw7564 with regards to the wording of the constitutional amendment the solicitor generals advice matched with six previous high court judges, means your interpretation of english words is worthless.

Thanks for displaying the moronic intellect of the racist No voter. Your contribution to an important debate has been invaluable.

@positivepawpaw7564 You don’t really understand english do you. “May make representations” means it may provide advice. Its representative value comes from its structure which the government of the day will decide. You only read into something what you wanted to believe. Your opinion is worthless.

@craigparker4108 Your reply is just a idiotic rant that completely ignored my point and then went off into conspiracy nutter world with some loopy comments about the UN. Seek help.

@katel7309 What is dodgy about an advisory body to government. Who elected the head of the productivity commission. It advises government. I’m not to sure you understood any of the debate around the voice. Your comment seems to show this.
1
@katel7309 Yeah, nah you’re not convincing me you had the slightest iota about the voice amendment to the constitution.

@katel7309 What agenda. The Uluṟu statement was a request from the indigenous people of this country to engage in a productive dialogue. And we said no.
1
@katel7309 So envy was your excuse for voting no. Fair enough just be honest about it.

@alansivkoff282 So your complete failure to understand the difference between political representation and constitutional recognition fully explains to me why ignorant no voters went they way they did. Thankyou for expressing your opinion.
1
@alansivkoff282 No it was never about representation. Nobody said it was. It was about constitutional recognition and an advisory body to government/parliament. Indigenous people already have political representation. Do you even have a clue about what you are commenting on. To me it just seems you are rambling by putting words together in a nonsensical rant.
1
@alansivkoff282 No you are factually wrong and embarrassingly so. Paragraph iii of the proposed amendment clearly stated the parliament will decide the composition, functions, powers, and procedures. You didn’t even take the time to understand or comprehend the question. You stupid dimwit opinion is utterly worthless. The solicitor general and six high court judges agree with my opinion. On the other hand your moronic interpretation did ring with the No voters.

And your evidence for the unsubstantiated claim is?

@johnstaring3210 Could you please cite an example of ATSIC being corrupt. Thanks.
