Utter garbage, read an economics handbook. Our current debt to GDP ratio is about 35% and easily manageable according to the IMF and World Bank economists.

@schuey3828 While I accept corporate profits are down in 2024, both the OECD and our own RBA both acknowledge that prior to that excessive corporate profit contributed to higher than normal inflation. You are your own problem.

@schuey3828 Ah yes the old “bot” excuse when the facts and logic get in the way of someone’s dogma.
1
@schuey3828 Ah the old blame the immigrants. OK now I fully understand.
1
@schuey3828 population growth is at a perfectly manageable (correction.98%)

@schuey3828 The population growth under Labor has been no different than under LNP governments. The data from the ABS is absolutely clear on this. You clearly have no idea.
1
@schuey3828 Yes because that's what the right wing media have told you. Actually research the topic yourself. Look up the data from the ABS and other independent bodies. Don't believe Skynews or me, find out for yourself.

@schuey3828 Don’t take my word for it. Research the data yourself.

Just look at the data, of the $900 billion in national debt $600 billion of it is Liberal and National party government spending not Labor. To blame Labor entirely for the current inflation rate is laughably stupid.
1
Your kidding me, under Morrison inflation was at 2.1% it is now 3.8% and you tell me you can’t run a business with an average cost increase of 1.7%?
1
@schuey3828 What is the source of your data? It certainly doesn't correspond to ABS data. Did you just make those numbers up in your head?
1
Inflation in 2023 was 4.7% and is currently 3.5%. Yes that is above the average of 2.1% under the LNP government in 2021, but to blame the Labor government for your inability to manage an average inflation increase of at best 2.5% seems to me far less about Labor and more the authenticity of your comments.
1
@schuey3828 So under 9 years of LNP government there were no cost increases? because under Labor since 2022 there have been income tax cuts. Wages have only grown at approximately 4%. What specific Labor policy are you talking about? because the government doesn’t control the price of oil, or gas, or your phone bill.
