The AMEO estimates $12 billion to expand transmission lines. That is the cost of just one nuclear plant. Nuclear is ridiculously expensive.

@awc900 You provide no data just vacuous personal opinion. There is an estimated 2.8 billion tonnes of copper ore known. Copper is one of the most easily recyclable of the metals, please come up with are excuse than we are going to run out. Very amusing.
