So when only one sub was operational under the Abbott government I can only assume you blamed Tony as well?

@aussienscale OK so if you are going done the anecdotal path. In my recent experience when logistics was tight, we very quickly found manufacturers with 3D printing that could virtually make any spare part we gave them. I can't provide specific details but during Covid I was able to provide all manner of goods for our soldiers from Aussie manufacturers that were very quickly able to replicate overseas suppliers. Yes it was expensive but very achievable. You seriously underestimate Aussie ingenuity.

Yeah right. A sub with the range I can hit a golf ball, and with no long range missile capability. The Navy didn’t what them and they were the third choice in the tender process.

No completely false. The Army is extremely well equipped as is the Air Force. The Navy has some maintenance issues.

@aussienscale No, it is not in poor shape. Equipment is new and extremely capable. All our systems have never been more capable of deploying.

@aussienscale Nope, just your opinion with no data. What reference are you using to claim ammunition stocks are insufficient? The ADF is about 7% down on planned numbers. Service maintenance has been an issue since the mid 90s and a LNP government decision to civilianise a significant proportion of the logistics train.

@concernedaussie1330 You are wrong. Your opinion is incorrect.
