The latest data has the cost of electricity by wind turbine at between $26 and $40 per MWh where as nuclear is between $151 and $206 per MWh so you are absolutely correct.

Socialist energy policies, interesting. Just how do you imagine that would work in a capitalist free market economy that is Australia? Do you seriously think a conservative government would build and own energy infrastructure? Wind turbines and solar panels can now last up to 25 years so factually wrong on that point. The average life span of a nuclear plant is somewhere between 20 to 40 years, so again your facts just don’t support your statement. As a side note all LCOE studies prove nuclear energy is the most expensive way to produce electricity.
