They were not invited and more importantly political activities in section 60 of Arlington cemetery is prohibited by federal law. The families of those soldiers have disrespected their sacrifice.

@trickyboy1517 My apologies I mistakenly thought you were calling my comment bullshit and wrote a very uncomplimentary reply, which I have deleted. My sincere apologies.
7
Yeah you’re right Rita she is only 4 points up nationally in the polls. It’s all down hill from here.
7
@dlpine71 I am mistaken about nothing, but perfectly happy for you to fact check anything I have said.
5
@ohlsenjulian3288 A terrorist released under the Trump administration from an Afgan prison killed those Marines. To suggest otherwise is to disrespect their sacrifice.
4
@NoHacksTSR Yes I am. Disrespecting federal law and the sacrifice of those US Marines is shameful.
3
@T3t4nu5 What veterans? I saw families attempting to make a political point by creating a stunt in a section of Arlington cemetery that is sacred ground. And no, no veteran is above the law.
2
@terrybianco The both deny any claim of being invited.
2
@kelperdude The latest ABC/Ipos poll has Harris 4 points in front nationally, but it is only one poll and I agree other polls don’t have her that high.
2
@Old_Skip Factually incorrect. The act of photography in section 60 is forbidden by federal law. Not only did the families disrespect sacred ground, Trump then turned the photos into three TikTok political ads. It is disgustingly that you are defending a criminal act and have so little regard for the sacrifice of US soldiers. How many graves of the 63 US soldiers killed in Afghanistan while Trump was President did he visit. Answer Zero.
1
@Old_Skip On a secondary note the terrorist who blew himself up and killed the 13 Marines along with 170 Afghans during the agreed chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan was released from prison in a prisoner exchange organised by President Trump with the Taliban. Trump released 5000 criminals and terrorists without consulting the Afghan government in March of 2020. You obviously have no understanding or knowledge of the war in Afghanistan. Sad.
1
@trickyboy1517 Yes your typical vacuous reply. Of course by your standards all federal laws are bullshit. I understand this.
1
@combivan4346 The Biden Administration claims it didn't receive a invitation and would have declined anyway because it understands the federal law which prohibits political activity in section 60. Trump turned photos taken into political ads. The families almost certainly didn't know that was going to happen, but what a lowlife Trump is for putting them in that situation. The federal law for photography in section 60 is explicitly clear. An official even explained this to them and got assaulted for their efforts.
1
@dlpine71 No you are factually wrong. Section 60 prohibits political activity and photography. This fact was pointed out to the group by an Army official. Fact. Trump then turned the photography into a political ad and put it on Tiktok, Fact.
1
@JayS1622 Yes I am angry that sacred ground has been disrespected by Trump for political means. He disrespected the families and the sacrifice of the Marines who were killed just so he could put an ad on Tiktok.
1
@romannavarro1178 Both Biden and Harris deny any claims if being invited.
1
@thedude883 Actually you are factually incorrect. In February of 2020 there were 25000 US soldiers in Afghanistan. Trump ordered the withdrawal so by February 2021 only 2500 were left. You are totally misinformed.
1
@7msjster I'm sure they did, and if Trump hadn't taken photos and made a political ad, nobody would have known about this at all. Section 60 is not for photo shoots or political stunts. It is a cemetery for honouring soldiers who haven given the ultimate sacrifice.
1
@squeezecheese9555 No. Factually incorrect. Politicking and photos in section 60 of Arlington cemetery is illegal under Federal law. What is it about Republicans and not caring about law and order.
1
@CherylJanzen Respect the law and respect the sacrifice of soldiers who have been killed. Photography in section 60 of Arlington cemetery is illegal under Federal law. Why are Republicans so keen to ignore the law?
1
@mariamalicek7794 Federal law prohibits photography in section 60 of Arlington cemetery. This is what the Army asked for at the request of families.
1
@mariamalicek7794 It is against federal law to use photography in section 60 of Arlington cemetery. The Army considers this ground to be sacred. This is what most families want.
1
@kimdiedrich9712 It was as soon as photography took place and Trump turned those photos into political ads. You are wrong.
1
@Debbie-e3g Strawman argument. The issue isn’t Trump being there. It was the photos and political ads on TikTok that followed. That was against federal law and the rules about being in section 60 Arlington Cemetery. Stop making pathetic excuses for your demagogue.
1
@user-tk1lp3qh8r No you are wrong. Trump made it political as soon as he used photography and made political ads out of the footage. This is clearly in breach of federal law and disrespects all US service personnel. What is it about Republicans that they think they can just ignore the law when it suits them?
1
@lazydaisy2292 Correct and he was invited by the families. So far so good. Trump then turned the visit into a series of political ads on Tiktok. Now he has breached Federal law. But I'm sure Republicans will just excuse him and allow him to disobey any law he chooses.
1
@kelperdude Here are 8 national independent polls showing Harris ahead. 1. Real clear politics poll 2. Race to the WH poll 3. decision desk. HQ/ the hill poll 4. 538 poll 5. Silver bulletin poll 6. Morning consult poll 7. CBS news/yougov poll 8. Civics/Daily cos poll
1
@dkhammah Exactly. That's why polls are only indicative, not predictive.
1
@Awc198 Your reply is just nonsensical vacuous garbage. Look up the meaning of the word "indicative" in the Oxford dictionary.
1
@Awc198 OMG what nonsense. Look up the dictionary meaning of “indicative”
1
@Awc198 No you are factually wrong and making claims that are not supported by any evidence. No polling survey has ever claimed to be 100% accurate/true and that suggestion is a strawman argument by yourself and just fallacious nonsense. I have provided 8 polls that all show on average a trend towards Harris that puts her slightly ahead of Trump in voter intention. It does not suggest she will win as Trump is level with her if not slightly ahead in the 7 battleground states. This is not my opinion it is what the data says. Your personal opinion of polling is literally worthless, you are entitled to it but it is of no value in a discussion on factual data.
