@kathrynperry992 No you are factually wrong. She was born in Afghanistan but fled as a child refugee on her mother’s passport. She has never had or been issued an Afghan passport. Before being elected she signed a statutory statement declaring she had take all reasonable steps to renounce her Afghan citizenship. If you are unaware our relationship with the Taliban isn’t exactly cooperative as they are a bunch of murdering thugs who we spent twenty years trying to destroy.

@kathrynperry992 Nope you are factually wrong in law. The Federal electoral act allows for a dual citizen to renounce their non Australian citizenship. Payman has declared this publicly in a statutory statement. If it is beyond your capacity to understand the recent history between the two countries (we were at war with them) then I don’t expect you to understand the Taliban are not being overly cooperative in such administrative matters. It is as if you are living in your own little bubble of ignorance about geopolitics.
