So Russia accepting North Korean weapons and troops was OK?

@oliverearnshaw6189 Not even close. You clearly don't understand debt and deficit or how the US economy works.

@jake751 Palestinian sovereignty is not an excuse for Hamas terrorist activity, neither is terrorism an excuse to slaughter 40000 civilians.

@vickiehadd4324 By what measure do you think the US is heading for a depression?
1
@oliverearnshaw6189 Yeah because we are on the side of good. If you are backing Russia then you are bad, evil, or just your average plain degenerate.
1
@oliverearnshaw6189 So you are a supporter of the North Korean regime. Interesting.
1
@oliverearnshaw6189 So the US economy continues to grow and has done under every quarter of the Biden administration currently at 2.8%. A recession is two consecutive quarters of negative growth and that last happened in 2020, who was President then? A depression is a sustained period of negative growth with high unemployment and a receding stock market. You need to read a economics textbook and gain an understanding of economic theory before commenting on topics you clearly don't understand.

@markhill9275 Yes absolutely it is right and moral. The Ukraine is a sovereign country illegally invaded by a foreign country. It is a democracy (not perfect) and it is the moral responsibility of the free West to help defend it. Clearly you are a Putin supporter and that's fine, but you are in the wrong, both intellectually and morally.
1
@oliverearnshaw6189 The US economy is easily capable of paying the interest on its debt. It currently does and it's economy continues to grow. You need to read an economics textbook and learn what a depression is.

@oliverearnshaw6189 When Trump took office in 2017 national debt was $19.95 trillion when he left in 2021 it was $27.75 trillion. That's a 36% increase.

@vitawaterplz Yes I expected that excuse. Look at the data. Trump had significantly increased the deficit well before Covid hit. You are wrong.
1
@vitawaterplz No it didn’t. The deficit had already increased significantly before Covid. Look at the data.
1
@vitawaterplz That’s a strawman and not what I said. If you are concerned about the US deficit then you must acknowledge the contribution that Trump made to increasing it (36%). The US economy has fully recovered from the Covid recession. GDP is at 3.8%, job growth is stronger than ever, unemployment is at record lows, the stock market is at record highs. The only downside was inflation was too high for a while, however it to is back under 3%. Either make an effort to understand economic data or avoid making idiotic sweeping generalisations.

@parjau4554 Russia could withdraw all it forces out of the Ukraine tomorrow and that would be it. Peace.
1
@vitawaterplz No, once again you lack the economic understanding of the difference between a recession and deficit spending. I never claimed Trump didn’t have to deal with a recession, however he had already significantly increased the deficit well before the Covid recession. When Trump took office in 2016 debt was $19.95 trillion at the end of 2019 before Covid it had already increased to $23 trillion. Trump promised to reduce the deficit, he did the exact opposite.
1
@vitawaterplz No. Trump had already significantly increased the deficit before covid. He then decided to increase federal spending even more. He had a choice, he said he would decrease the deficit, but instead he increased it. Covid caused a recession, Trump increased the deficit. He didn't have to.
