The implication of your comment is there isn’t a single woman of merit in the Liberal party, which may be true, but also sad.

@jeh5882 If you don’t learn from history then you are bound to repeat it, or words to that effect. Hopefully the LNP will learn and provide such good policies that the people elect them.

@johnwoodrow8769 I agree Hawke and Howard were very good leaders despite Hawkes failings as a human being. You only need to read Niki Sava’s book “Road to Ruin”to know Abbott was no leader. He had talents undoubtedly but leading wasn’t one of them.

@johnwoodrow8769 Niki Savva is a conservative and was an advisor to John Howard dismissing her well researched book with an emotive phrase is illogical. To save me from life threatening situation I assume you are alluding to Abbotts physical fitness which I agree is admirable. I have no issues with Tony Abbott as a person, as a PM he was a disaster.
