@hemligx-sson8202 I'm not sure I understand why you would think that. I haven't a racist bone in my body, in that by which you mean one skined coloured group of people is superior to another. Race is a social construct as there is no biological difference between me a white male and a African or Asian male. There are obvious physical differences and some cultural differences but differences not superiority. If done respectfully I see no problem with copying or using elements of different cultures and embracing them into your own. Having said that I understand I may unwittingly say or do something that someone may find insensitive and I am happy to be corrected on that.

@hemligx-sson8202 I don't necessarily think it would be racist, but having a white woman play a black man would probably diminish the credibility of the work. I have seen Shakespeare's Titus Emperor of Rome performed and not in period costume. The costumes were modern dress, jeans and t shirts and all the female parts were played by men. It was very confusing. I know of an all female indigenous theatre production of one of Shakespeare's plays being conducted entirely in thier own language. I missed out on seeing a play called Gilbert Grape because the lead actor was gay and not transsexual so the production was cancelled. So my answer is no I don't have a problem with it as long as it is done respectfully and with that intent.
