M1A1 are powered by gas turbine, the ASLAV and the M113AS4 both diesels and both replacement vehicles are diesel powered. The Bushmaster also is diesel powered. WTF are you talking about?

@wyatthurts1729 Fair point, probably an over reaction on my part. Just another little piece of trivia though. Of the 30 odd Bushmasters that were blown up or attacked by IEDs landmines in the time we were in Afghanistan not a single Australian soldier was killed in one. Yes some were seriously wounded but not a single death. So yes I don't find my fellow soldiers lives a area for comic relief. Yes we have spent a shitload of money on armouring our Army. Money well spent.
