Reducing the money supply will reduce inflation. It’s inflation that’s causing the rising cost of living. This twit was once our nations treasurer and he doesn’t understand economics 101.

@paldridg. Fair cop. Yes that was poorly worded on my part. Using inflation to describe an event that contributes to cost of living was tautological. However my point still stands that an interest rate rise will reduce demand and hence lower inflation, supposedly.
