For nuclear energy to tick off 1, 3, and 4, 2 is impossible. I am sure there is an example of electricity being produced from nuclear energy somewhere in the world but most of it is subsidised by the state as in France and the US.

@birch8005 Well technically you can use green energy to manufacture green infrastructure. All the current LCOE studies have wind and solar significantly cheaper than nuclear, of course nuclear had the reliability factor in its favour. The construction of all infrastructure consumes resources this part of your argument is a strawman, once again current LCOE have wind and solar significantly cleaner than any current fossil fuel alternative. I suspect the future will be renewables supported with some nuclear as required.

@birch8005 I understand what you are saying and fortunately you can't make a nuclear weapon from a solar panel or poison an entire city with a wind turbine. If you could trust people with a nuclear reactor or SMR and didn't need any safety or regulatory checks then Nucs win hands down. If we could trust a private company to safeguard all its waste then sure nucs win. Are you going to trust the Taliban with a shitload of nuclear waste to dispose of it properly. Do you trust any criminal organisation that could make money dealing in black market weapons grade U233. I don't. To make sure none of that happens regulatory costs are huge. It means being in the real world and not just dealing with a mathematical equation about energy produced per kg.

@thescience5307 Vast quantities of water are required to create the steam to run the turbines to produce the electricity. You may want to delete your comment before others read it.

@thescience5307 Nuclear energy is already expensive enough and you what to either use the little precious fresh water the country has or pipe water from the ocean. $$$$$. Yes you could make it work, as with anything if you chuck enough money at it. Little chance anyone other than the super rich will be able to run an air conditioner.
