  1.    You don’t need enrichment. You can bleed off U233 from a Thorium SMR. It’s difficult but can be done. U233 bombs have been tested and they work.

  2. Numerous studies have proven beyond reasonable doubt renewables wind/solar create far lower carbon emissions than burning coal or gas. Also look up LCOE, wind and solar are considerably cheaper at producing electricity as well.

  3.  @reneegade7965  Firstly you have to move away from "carbon footprint" terminology. The term carbon footprint was devised by the PR company contracted by BP in the mid 90s ( the fossil fuel industry) to move the blame for carbon emissions from the polluter (BP) to the user (you & me). It was the same tactic used by tobacco companies to move the blame for cancer from the cigarette manufacturers to the individual. Don't use it, it is a con. Numerous studies prove from beginning to end wind and solar consume less resources than coal and gas. This includes the resources needed to construct a coal power plant, the coal to burn for the 40 years of operation and the eventual plant closure. A wind turbine farm is cleaner, greener, and cheaper for the equivalent Mw than a coal power station. Wind turbine can now be recycled into cement and almost 95% of a solar panel is recyclable.

  5. Why would they owned by the government? Are you advocating for the socialisation of our power grid? Nuclear power plants in the US are privately owned.
