  2.  @peterlederer3896  Nope absolutely and completely incorrect. Political parties may make submissions to the AEC and that’s it. Total complete and utter control of electoral boundaries remains 100% under jurisdiction of the AEC.

An independent redistribution committee releases a proposal before an expanded independent body determines final names and boundaries. Each process has several rounds of public input. All submissions are published with reports outlining reasons for every decision. You are factually wrong.
