@BrianBellia I totally agree.

@craigmorris7186 You obviously live in a privileged part of the country, but the NBN provided Internet access for the whole country particularly rural and remote Australians. The Gillard government can’t be held responsible for the botched rollout by the Abbott/Turnbull/Morrison governments. Your point is mute. Provide evidence everyone said it was a waste of money.
2
@craigmorris7186 And we will leave it at that.

@teresafoster5818 Al Gore is not a climate scientist, what he says about sea levels is as worthless as your comment. Go and read some of the peer reviewed published scientific papers on ocean sea levels.

@The3rdCoat Where did you read that? People magazine? Read the scientific literature that has been peer reviewed and published.
1
@The3rdCoat You have no understanding of science which is exactly that. Novel testable predictions is what science is based on. Clearly you think it is read out of a magazine or on facebook.
1
@The3rdCoat I mean really how do you think "gravity" and "evolution" were proven as scientific theories?
1
@The3rdCoat Sorry mate you have embarrassed yourself publicly with your lack of knowledge and understanding of how science works, best we leave it at that.

It’s hilarious.

@johnathanasiou9284 Nothing extremist or exaggerated in that comment. I do agree with you on one point though with our current obesity levels as a nation we could do with some starving

Classic strawman argument and nonsensical. The production of all forms of electricity requires resources be used. All LCOE studies have renewables consuming less and costing less than fossil fuels.
1
@runforestrunfpv4354 So you replied with a illogical strawman argument to my response to the consumption of resources in the production of electricity. Your entire comment is nonsensical.
1
@runforestrunfpv4354 It what possible way. I made a comment about the use and costs associated with producing electricity and the original comment being a strawman. You then commented on the effectiveness of renewables not the use and costs which was not my point. Even if I grant your point it is still nonsensical in the context of the discussion.
1
@runforestrunfpv4354 So these are the US Energy Administration data Per megawatthour Onshore wind $26 to $50 Solar stand alone $59 to $91 Geothermal $56 to $93 Gas peaking $151 to $196 Coal $65 to $152 Nuclear $131 to $204
1
@runforestrunfpv4354 I don't know what you mean. This is not my data it is public information available to anyone, you can dispute the data just cite your source. I would send you links but youtube vomits at this. Like I said I have no problem with your argument about the difficulties in delivering electricity from renewable sources and the issue with synchronisation.
1
@runforestrunfpv4354 Mate nothing you have said now I disagree with the less resources used to create electricity the better.
1
@runforestrunfpv4354 Say what? I am not aware of such technology other than on occasions getting a little spark action happening.
1
@BrianBellia Please keep up that logic and Labor will be in government for the next 20 years.
1
@BrianBellia What is bizarre is some of the LNP analysis suggesting the parties lurch further to right to gain back moderate Liberal voters.
1
A whole bunch of UAP voters here all 4.73% of them. Nut jobs.
