Please anybody reference me a section of the bible that prevents or is against abortion.

@Super_Mario128 Seriously, even a basic scholar of the bible knows this is a mistranslation and the correct translation to English is “Thou shalt no murder”. Nowhere in the bible does it grant full moral and personhood to a fetus. In fact the bible references the punishment for causing a miscarriage as a fine but for the killing of a pregnant woman as an eye for an eye. So on both counts you fail. You don’t know your bibles teachings or it’s correct translations.

You people need to get your stuff in one sock. The commandment in the bible is “Thou shalt not murder”, and it referred to people granted full moral and legal personhood. It didn’t for instance refer to slaves. Seriously have any of you got the remotest idea about the subject of this discussion?

@Martin_Priesthood To have a good time, but it is helpful but not essential in reproduction. You can’t be seriously suggesting this as an argument against abortion. Are you suggesting the only reason people have sex is to reproduce. Do you live under rock?

I’ll help you all out Exodus 21 22:23 cleary states a fetus is less than person. Hebrew tradition and the bible itself repeatedly talks about life at first breath, never does it talk about life at conception. You lot need to read your bible. Seriously.

@2ff6 Thou shalt not kill is a mistranslation of ancient Aramaic into English. The correct translation is Thou shalt not murder. You need to learn your bible correctly and not make idiotic false statements.
