@gavinpruden3306 What you are describing is anecdotal and is nonsensical gibberish. The inflation rate is 2.8% and the underlying rate a little higher. The inflation rate has been on a downward curve since 2021. It is half now what it was 4 years ago. Your personal shopping experience is of no consequence, what matters is the independent data collected by the ABS. No I'm off to the the butcher to buy some waygu steaks to BBQ for dinner, I might get some oysters as well.

@gavinpruden3306 Factually incorrect the ABS include housing in their data collection. The rest of your reply is just meaningless opinion and completely worthless. The last two federal budgets have been in surplus. Public spending has ensured employment. Neo-Liberal economy theory has been proven to fail. Even the previous LNP acknowledged this.
