And your data source for this claim is?

@winstonsmith7801 So your data source is anecdotal evidence of a haircut. Thanks that's all I needed to know.
2
@JamielDeAbrew Yes. The data collected to calculate inflation includes the price of both purchasing and renting accommodation. It is heavily weighted in this area as of its importance to peoples lives.
2
@winstonsmith7801 No, you have explained your data source. It is your own personal experience. That's all I needed to know. Anecdotal evidence is fallacious by nature.

@winstonsmith7801 Yes pathetic was the anecdotal evidence and zero data you provided. You provided literally not a single piece of evidence, not one, and you have the chutzpah to accuse someone else of being pathetic. I have no idea why you are continuing to comment you already told me all I need to know.

@winstonsmith7801 The unsubstantiated claim of the increase in a haircut. Seriously. You could have referenced or provided details from an independent economist or a report, geez I would even had accepted data from a newspaper, but a haircut that’s laughable.

@winstonsmith7801 You are not listening. I never claimed there wasn’t price increases or inflation. You claimed 15-20% and provided zero evidence. There is no doubt whatsoever prices have increased, but anecdotal evidence of 15-20% is patently absurd. Just look up anecdotal fallacy.

@JamielDeAbrew Yes. Housing both the purchasing of and renting is a significant element of the ABS data inflation calculation. It is weighted heavily due to its importance. If you go to the ABS website it is fully explained.

@Adam-ie8ed Your personal experience while valid is not accurate or reliable data. It is anecdotal and to use it as evidence is fallacious nonsense.
1
Nope you are wrong. The data is for real wage growth not wage growth. Real wage growth is that above inflation.
