  1. What nobody has mentioned are the other numerous cases of alleged touching and inappropriate actions that never went to trial. Pell was a sexual abuser no doubt, and so affirmed of his power he had no concerns that his behaviour would be caught out. He knew he was too powerful to fall. In the end it was an orthopaedic surgeon who was abused as a child that brought him down.
