Classic argument from ignorance. I don’t understand it so it can’t work. Just fallacious nonsense from Ms Price.

@mariahewitt9787 On what? I have listened to several interviews Ms Price has given on indigenous issues and I haven't heard a coherent word from her yet. She is most definitely a sincere and fierce advocate, but intellectual rigour is not one of her strong points.

@mariahewitt9787 Sorry I can't see it. Price argues for a the status quo that has repeatedly failed to deliver the outcomes indigenous people deserve. Numerous indigenous leaders are advocating for a voice including the previous LNP indigenous affairs minister and an indigenous man Ken Wyatt. What is Ms Price frightened of? What is Ms Price's alternative, how does she expect to solve the disparity between indigenous outcomes and the general population?

@tonypepperoni3679 No. You just have a simplistic view of a complex issue. Institutional racisim, wealth inequality, a lack of self determination, and numerous other issues has literally for generations denied indigenous people an equal opportunity. All you have done is repeat a classic racist trope. In your narrow mind all you can imagine is money. Quite sad really.

@tonypepperoni3679 There is nothing wrong with robust debate, but I have seen nothing from the “No” campaign that resembles this. Fear and ignorance rule the no argument. Or in your argument conspiracy theory ie there must be some hidden agenda ie money power, when all it is about is simple equality, something you are completely unwilling to grant.

@tonypepperoni3679 Interesting that you see a debate and democracy as divisive. I'm sure many people will vote no out of ignorance and fear. That is to be expected, but every racist grub will undoubtedly no. You are correct I have no interest in a no campaign that literally hasn't raised a single legitimate issue.

@tonypepperoni3679 So in describing the Uluṟu statement from the heart as the “Ayers Rock statement” you are again either being deliberately dismissive of indigenous culture or just blatantly racist, either way it tells me all I need to know about the depth of your opinion.
