@normanmazlin6741 So an advisory body that only provides advice will be held accountable for those items that work and those that don’t work. If the advice consistently doesn’t provide results then it will just be ignored. What is hard to grasp about this? I’m mean it’s just commonsense.

You keep claiming divisiveness and mostly all I see is discussions and debate which is the hallmark of democracy. When you say divisiveness are you just frightened you won’t get your way?

Excellent point. A bill of rights. You understand though this will give an indigenous person the same freedom of speech as you.
1
And you clearly have absolutely no understanding of indigenous culture to make such an ignorant comment.
1
@daniellebcooper7160 And bingo there it is “cultural Marxism” the buzzword of white supremacy groups. Finally you have outed yourself.
1
Give me the license plate numbers and I will investigate.
1
@positivepawpaw7564 All you have described is how our constitution currently works. It isn’t a criticism it is a description. British Tobacco regularly pay for access to the executive. How childlike is your naivety.
1
Nope in the Uluṟu statement and the reports to the LNP government from the beginning.
1
What $100 billion, provide evidence of this unsubstantiated claim
1
@mrnobodytheuser2950 just an unsubstantiated nonsensical claim without a shred of evidence.
1
@mrnobodytheuser2950 Too many generalisations there to possibly make any sort of sensible and civil response so I'll leave it at that.
1
@samopalvampirenvonbutlegin8603 OK thats a fair comment then. Sometimes these claims are suggesting it’s a years funding which is quite ludicrous, but $100 billion over decades seems reasonable. So if I quoted the money spent on defence over the last couple of decades would your question still be what purpose was it spent for, or for that matter, public housing, public hospitals, public education, public roads, industry support, tax cuts, do you see where I’m going with this? You seem terribly concerned with public money being spent on indigenous people but not anybody else.
1
@Xunt-n2j Nope. I simple reference will do. Or cite a document or a budget paper, there are multiple ways to prove this claim. You can go off on your conspiracy theory I won’t join you.
1
@Xunt-n2j Yes as suspected, I spent two minutes looking at it to work out it is for neo nazi, white supremacist, racist, conspiracy theory loving nutjobs.
1
@samopalvampirenvonbutlegin8603 OK so you are just factually wrong is your assumptions or opinion of indigenous tertiary education. Since 2007 the number of indigenous people in tertiary or higher education has doubled from 9329 in 2007 to 19237 in 2017. Award students increased by 44%. There has also been a 69% increase in the number of indigenous higher education completions. So your comment about money allocated to improving indigenous tertiary education is just factually wrong. Read the closing the gap report.
1
@samopalvampirenvonbutlegin8603 Ahh move the goalposts, no worries. I can quote a whole shitload of data that proves beyond all reasonable doubt that indigenous people lag behind the general population on absolutely every economic and social measure. Are you denying the racism and racist behaviour that indigenous people have been subjected to since 1788? Again that fine because I can cite literally thousands of pieces of evidence from settler diaries to government actions to specific sections of our original constitution that conclusively prove beyond all reasonable doubt that these events happened. I agree in a perfect world without discrimination targeted assistance would not be necessary.
1
@Xunt-n2j Yeah sorry I don’t know what you are talking about. Best leave it at that.
1
@samopalvampirenvonbutlegin8603 No this is current data and current discrimination, social, legal, and economic. Nothing about the past to do with it. All you have to do is read BTL of xunts comments. Don’t be so naive.
1
Anecdotal evidence in argumentation is just fallacious nonsense.
1
@Xunt-n2j Make your mind up, am I intelligent or don’t I understand words? Tell you what, I can recognise a racist when I see one.
