Utter garbage. Australia currently has the 10th lowest cost electricity in the OECD. Cheaper than manufacturing giants Japan and Germany.

@chrisg8321 Wind turbines are lasting 30 years as are currently produced solar panels. You are cherry picking the extremes of nuclear plant longevity and the replacement times for first generation renewable infrastructure. Your argument is dishonest and factually incorrect.

@chrisg8321 The industry standard is 25 to 30 years for PV cells, with most manufacturers offering a minimum 25 year guarantee. It will take 10 years of use to get the cost benefit. You have been sold a dump by a dodgy supplier and a crooked installer. I feel sorry for you.

@chrisg8321 Well that’s fine, you bought a cheap system and you pay for what you get. You can buy a car tyre that last 20000km or a one that lasts 60000km.
