  2. 3.5% is the monthly figure not the yearly number. The ABS figure for the year is 10.3%.

  3.  @dandical  No you have misread the ABS data. 3.5% was the average increase in rents nationally for the month of October only. Did you even read the whole report?

  4.  @dandical  No you are wrong and the reporting in all the MSM proves this. The annual rate of increasing rents as compiled by the ABS and reported in the MSM is around 10% just for the month of October it was 3.5%. The ABS is reporting the average annual rate increase in rents is 10.3%. You misunderstood whatever you read.
