  10.  @mk1479  All I was asking for was an example, say an economic indicator that would make you think that. I didn't say it couldn't happen just that it was unlikely, just one indicator that's all. On food shortages you do understand Australia exports approximately 5 to 7 times the amount of food we produce. We have suffered through droughts that have lasted close to 10 years and still exported food. What possible indicator makes you think Australia will suffer a food shortage?

  11.  @mk1479  An issue with supply chain inadequacies is not an indication of food supply shortages. While there is a cause and effect one does not mean the other. There are multiple factors effecting the food supply chain none of them are actually the amount of food produced. As I said before Australia exports 72% of food produce. We are in absolutely zero possibility of going hungry. Yes you may not get the cos lettuce you want and might have to settle for kale sometimes and yes I had to wait six weeks for a part for my robot pool cleaner to come from the US, but there is zero indicators of a Sri Lanka type situation developing in Oz.
