Not a single UAP candidate will be elected to the house of reps, they might get a senate seat in Queensland.

@johnhoylesunvaccinatedbrot6476 The UAP are currently polling 3% nationally in multiple different polls, I’d bet my first born on my previous comment.

@braxxian Who said anything about being an “expert” but I can read polling data.

@lonewolfcallingwolfden8296 They have been reasonable accurate in the past, there is still a month before the election so of course the numbers could change, but from 3% to a number that would get a UAP a lower house seat it would have to be pretty dramatic.

@betrayedcitizen5135 That would make sense if they varied wildly from actual election results, but they don’t.

@buildmotosykletist1987 So we are of virtually the same opinion. I simply base my opinion on the data publicly available, that being three different polls conducted in the last week, which have support for the UAP at somewhere between 1% and 5% nationally depending on which poll you read. I admit I am a little surprised the UAP polling is as low as it is as I thought with the amount of money Palmer has spent on advertising the UAP would be higher. How did you come to your opinion?

@buildmotosykletist1987 I think you misunderstand a poll, which is only as good as the day it is taken as people change their minds. I never suggested they were perfect and I would point you towards all the recent state elections where the pre-polling data proved to be quite accurate. The last federal election polling was off, but that was because there was a late swing to the government in the last week. Another example of accurate polling was before the plebiscite on same sex marrige. Could you please indicate where polling in Australia was wildly off.

On a side note, during Clive Palmers speech at the National press club today he stated that UAP policy would be for the UAP to take control of monetary policy from the reserve bank and fix interest rates for home loans at 3%. That would require legislation to force banks to do that, which whether you agree or disagree is a good policy it is effectively socialism. Are UAP voters happy being called socialists?
