And before the British used flags ancient Chinese and Egyptian cultures used flags, so your point is the British didn’t invent flag use they learnt it from other cultures which is exactly what the indigenous people here did. Your argument is just illogical gibberish.

@charleshillman2010 You completely missed the point. I never suggested the British didn't have flags, what I said was the didn't invent them they learned that behaviour in exactly the same way the indigenous people here have learnt to use flags. No difference.

@chuckh5999 So you persist with the idiocy that the indigenous community are not allowed a flag. Under the flags act 1953 on the 14th July 95, and again on 25 Jan 2008. It is recognised as the flag of the Aboriginal peoples of Australia. It didn't need voting on as it gained general acceptance

@chuckh5999 The original comment did. The British didn't even invent woven cloth, so once again I fail to see any coherent argument or point you are trying to make. If it is just that the British were more technologically advanced in 1788 than the indigenous population well no shit Sherlock. Any basic understanding of history would show you technology was imported into the Bristish isles as well. The idiocy that indigenous people aren't allowed a flag because the didn't use them in 1788 and only learned this behaviour since is just that idiotic.
