Anybody who thinks the South China Sea (one of the most disputed areas in the world, with numerous countries laying claim to various parts, and Chinas claims repudiated by international courts) with the Tasman Sea (a remote begin body of water, with literally no dispute) is either a clown or deliberately being disingenuous. You chose!

@partricklin9749 No you are factually wrong. It was a legally instituted arbitral tribunal constituted under the UN convention on Law of the Sea. Nice try but get your facts straight before attempting any disinformation.
2
@partricklin9749 Just a strawman argument. I never suggested the Tasman Sea was not international waters. You point is just fallacious nonsense.
2
@partricklin9749 Again factually incorrect. Alleged war crimes committed in Afghanistan by Australian soldiers are still under investigation. No determination has been made. Once again, get your facts straight before attempting to spread disinformation.
2
@partricklin9749 Hilarious, you make a point about international waters and then claim ADF ships in international waters in the South China Sea are intruding. Comedy genius. Here is some advice chose a topic to discuss that you have some knowledge of.
2
@partricklin9749 No you are factually incorrect. The Tribunal that ruled against China was instituted under UN law. You are mistaken or deliberately spreading disinformation.
2
@partricklin9749 Again with the fallacious nonsensical strawman. I never suggested or claimed Chinese naval vessels don’t have a right to exercise in international waters. Neither did I claim or suggest Australia or NZ have any sovereignty claim to international waters in the Tasman Sea. It is China that illegally claims territory of international waters in the South China Sea. You really have little knowledge of this topic.
2
@partricklin9749 Yes I understand you believe the International tribunal instituted under UN laws was an NGO, however you are wrong. You need to do some proper research on the topic. No war allenged war crimes committed by Australians has been judged by the ICC. But your point is again just fallacious nonsense. Tell me exactly how is an allegation of war crimes in Afghanistan related to a discussion about illegal Chinese activities in the South China Sea. Happy to discuss the murders committed by the Chinese Army during the Tiananmen massacre in 1989 were hundreds of protesting students were killed by Chinese soldiers.
2
@partricklin9749 No I didn’t. I never claimed the Tasman Sea was Australian territory. I claimed there is no disputed territory in the Tasman sea and that statement is factually correct. You are reading what you what to hear.
2
@partricklin9749 I have repeatedly stated the Tasman Sea is international waters. Your point is just fallacious nonsense.
2
@partricklin9749 No China has laid claim to parts of the South China Sea that are not recognised internationally or by several nearby nations. It illegally built military bases on reclaimed land despite assurances to the international community it wouldn’t. It continues to attempt to prevent freedom of passage movements through the South China Seas. You are being lied to by the CCP.
2
@partricklin9749 I have no understanding of why you continue to introduce red herring fallacies into a discussion about illegal Chinese naval activities in the South China Sea and their unprofessional and unsafe practices in the Tasman Sea.
2
@partricklin9749 In 2016, a UN tribunal concluded China violated UNCLOS for operating within the Philippines EEZ, interfering with fishing and petroleum activity, constructing artificial features, and conducting law enforcement activity that lead to near collisions at sea. You have been sold a lie and sucked it up with glee.
2
@partricklin9749 That’s hilarious, you just denied the Tiananmen massacre. You have lost your grip with reality. The ICC is not investigating andy allenged war crimes by Australians, the Australian government is investigating them and a special task force under the guidance of the AFP was set up to do this, and has always cooperated with the ICC. The UN tribunal was instituted under Annex VII to the 1982 UNCLOS. I’m sorry but someone who denies the June Forth incident is delusional.
2
@partricklin9749 You are funny guy. The Federation square wasn’t even built until 2002. In 1982 there were numerous protests in Australia (Franklin river, Commonwealth games, Land rights). Your delusional rantings are endlessly entertaining.
2
@partricklin9749 You are the one that mentioned Federation square, if you meant old gas building built in the 60s then that’s what you should have said, but the stupidity of your ignorance is once again endlessly entertaining.
2
@partricklin9749 No, Factually incorrect our aircraft was exercising its free right passage in international airspace. Chinas claim to this space is not recognised internationally. You are once again completely wrong.
2
@partricklin9749 Endless streams of derogatory comments is uselessly funny and entertaining and it clearly demonstrates your intellectual capacity.
2
@partricklin9749 No you have just slipped into complete gibberish that is childlike. Are you just going to ChatGPT to form a response to my comments?
2
@boofsiggy Yep totally agree, but it was late, I was bored and sleepless, and it keep him from annoying anyone else. The level of his self delusion is impressive, but strangely endearing.
2
@xinyiquan666 Yeah I'm sure that's what your government told you to think. I wish i could live in the delusional happiness that is your mind.
2
@xinyiquan666 So for how long have you been a spokesperson for the CCP? You are not very good at it. Try and be subtle, try not to sound like a deranged lunatic wallowing in self delusion.
2
@xinyiquan666 it's kind of you to show so much interest in my welfare. Thankyou. Your endless stream of nonsense is very soothing, much like a stroll through the bush with the birds whistling away. It's a shame you have nothing of substance to your argument other than CCP talking points.
2
@xinyiquan666 Thankyou for taking such interest in my health. It’s so nice of you to care so much. It is shame though that you lack the intellectual skills to argue or discuss geopolitics with any level of intelligence. Endlessly entertaining though, the convict jibes are particularly humorous. Is their a comedy venue where you perform as I’d pay money to see your act.
2
Submarines are incredibly difficult to detect, and a rudimentary knowledge of modern naval warfare would understand this. The US undoubtedly has a SSN surveilling this task group.

@xinyiquan666 All these posts and you still didn’t tell me where you perform your comedy act.
1
@xinyiquan666 I had forgotten about this exchange and the idiocy of your comments. Thanks for posting again, and given me reason to re-read and laugh again at your comical attempts at rational discussion.
1
Exactly correct. Also the deployment of this task group without any air cover is telling. While provocative in nature it’s also incredibly stupid, without air cover these warships would be sitting ducks for a couple of F35s.
