We have documented evidence from Dutch explorers who visited Northern Australia in the 17th century and were greeted by Aboriginals with welcome ceremony and smoking ceremonies. This Ernie Dingo thing is a racist trope, best drop it as it spoils your other legitimate points. On a side note while I personally would not have used Burney’s words as you quoted in 1) describing Aboriginals pre 1967. The fact is section 127 did make them non citizens and denied them certain human rights.
