Comments by "" (@pwillis1589) on "The NDIS is an ‘absolute scam’: Pauline Hanson" video.
That comment would make the slightest bit of sense if the NDIS was about taking welfare. Tell me what is the “I” in NDIS stand for?

Completely false. Provide you nieces details, as the NDIS doesn’t pay for airfares or hotels. There is a mobility allowance that will subsidise taxi travel. You are deliberately distorting and giving false information. Caught in an obvious lie either put up or shut up. If your niece is using NDIS funds for hotel accommodation that is illegal. Give me her details and I will report her to the NDIS fraud taskforce. You won’t because you made this story up.

Why is it unsustainable?
2
@anthonyroberts7641 Both sides of politics have acknowledged some savings need to be made. The NDIS is most definitely not unsustainable. Currently it is approximately 6% of the federal budget. Plenty of room for savings in other areas $368 billion on 10 submarines immediately comes to mind.
2
@johannsebastienbach As explained earlier the NDIS is easily sustainable.
2
@Eric-kn4yn Yes. Explain to me exactly why you think any particular sector of the federal budget is unsustainable.
2
@MrMeldarionx You can’t receive NDIS payments to care for your child. There is disability payments and allowances that you can get from Centrelink.
2
@toilotoili7097 I fully understand the NDIS and have experience as a parent of an intellectually disabled child as well as being on the board of a service provider. You clearly need assistance. There are specialist classes and schools available. I will send you links to support services.

@joywilliams8444 Along with Medicare, public hospitals, public roads, all welfare payments, public education. In fact absolutely no public money spent on any individual. Let's not fund the Defence force with public money either. See how utterly stupid your comment/argument is. Idiocy of the highest order.
1
@Eric-kn4yn WTF are you talking about? If you seriously think any foreign government has any input into how either the LNP or Labor treasurers construct their budgets then you are a nutjob. Sorry to be so blunt.
1
@cadejust6777 Politicians is the most part work long hours and have very responsible jobs. While I do not agree with virtually everything MS Hanson says I certainly don’t begrudge her parliamentary wage and allowances.

@joywilliams8444 The NDIS is an insurance scheme specifically designed to provide quality care for disabled children/adults. No person should ever be reliant on their parents care forever. It is an absurd suggestion. Many disabled people rely on a team of support workers/carers for 24/7 care, how else to you think it can be done. Three shifts of 8 hours plus extra support if the individual needs lifting for personal hygiene. If the individual suffers seizures then that 24 care requires support staff to be awake right through the night. Meals need to be prepared, accommodation cleaned and maintained. Clothes washed and ironed. Clients need to be transported to doctors appointments and physio sessions. How do you expect this to be done without at least 4 support staff. Your entire comment is one of stupid envy and ridiculously stupid ignorance.

A totally false statement. The NDIA has a redress scheme, fraud taskforce, and complaints system. Yelling abuse down a telephone won’t get you anywhere. Try a reasoned coherent argument.
1
Yes the concept that vital care be accessed by disabled people is I can see in Hansons mind a scam. Why should they get anything is her mindset.
1
@casperblackcat1975 Yes. The original comment was clearly a lie. What was described is illegal. I'm not suggesting it doesn't happen, but it is fraud and criminal activity.
1
@Nina_Olivia OK so firstly read the dishonest reply from johnmac333. When called out in his obvious lie, he completely crumbled. Once again it is illegal/a crime/fraud to use NDIS funds on a holiday expenses. The NDIS will fund a carers wages, but that's it. If you have specific evidence of a person using NDIS money to fund a holiday report it to the police immediately.
1
@rickbart1 Absolute rubbish. At any time a individuals plan can be reassessed. The NDIS guidelines clearly state this and I have personally experienced this function work perfectly. You haven’t got a clue what you are talking about.
1
@rickbart1 The procedure to question, amend, redress any NDIS decision is attached. https://www.ndis.gov.au/participants/request-review-decision
1
@rickbart1 No completely false. A simple approach to the NDIS for a reassessment of your child's NDIS plan can literally take place at any time. This flexibility is a key component of any NDIS package. You are just wrong, don't understand the system or are deliberately spreading misinformation. I will send you a link to the information
