Morrison increased the national debt more in six months than Rudd/Gillard did in six years.

@GrooberNedJardine I had eight choices on my ballot paper. I severely doubt there was an electorate in the country with at least half a dozen choices. Secondly the voting in Australia is administered by the AEC and is independent of government and there no evidence of widespread electoral fraud. Nothing is rigged. You are just factually wrong. Your opinion is based on nothing other than you didn’t get your way and your not happy about it. Too bad.

Nothing says cognitive dissonance more than a 19 seat majority.

@beedoox5613 Nice accounting trick. Use gross debt figures for Labor and net debt figures for the Libs. So the truth is net debt in 2013 was 11.9 and in 2022 when the Libs were booted out it was 41 that is 4 times what it was in 2013. In total figures in 2013 it was 250 billion and is now just shy of a trillion dollars. That is $750 billion added to the national debt under the Libs in 9 years the majority of which was under Morrison in hie last two budgets. Of course it is irrelevant to a liberal ideologue who attempts to hide the truth.

@beedoox5613 I have no problems whatsoever with stimulus spending by governments, Rudd/Gillard did it to keep us out of recession during the GFC and Morrison did it to keep people in jobs through the pandemic. It is the hypocrisy of Labor spending bad, Liberal spending good argument that annoys me. The fact is Liberal fiscal policy since 2013 has significantly contributed to the national debt. It is not the end of the world, just be honest and own it. Don't now try on this neoliberal fiscal conservative argument that is just pure fiction.

And your alternative is?

@GrooberNedJardine WTF would you perfer the 5% national vote of One Notion to get them into government. It’s easy to complain, provide a better system.

@GrooberNedJardine I have no idea what vaccine status has to do with voting g systems and while accepting preferential voting isn't perfect I simply asked what is your alternative?
