@noway165 Do yah even think for even a minute that if that was even remotely achievable Bush, Obama, Trump, and finally Biden would have tried it. Read up on strategic bombing campaigns, they almost always failed.

@noway165 Trump signed the deal to leave by May 21 how is that not leaving it to Russia and China?

Never mind the twelve years of Republican stupidity in Afghanistan.

@manmaje3596 I'll multiply 8 years of Obama by 8 years of Bush multiplied by 4 years of Trump and then add on 8 months of Biden and to you that equals Bidens fault, what is your memory 2 minutes long.

@manmaje3596 How knowledgeable on this subject are you? Trump signed the withdrawal deal with the enemy that set the date May 21. He then reduced the Troop level from 16000 down to 2500. He set the scene, he even boasted in one of his speechs that the Democrats couldn't change it. Are any of these facts getting through to you? Is it disaster you bet is Biden partly to blame yes, but don't let your demagogue of the hook.

@manmaje3596 Once again you seem to not be aware of the facts. "Because Biden has pulled them out so quickly" they are your words and they are fundamentally wrong and show a clear lack of understanding. Trump reduced the military in 2020 from 16000 to 2500. That's how many US troops were in Afghanistan in Jan 21 when Biden took over. 2500. Is that clear now? You had a go at Obama for increasing troop levels and at Trump for decreasing them, so which is it? Your not even consistent in your lack of knowledge. If your one and only point is the whole twenty years has been a fiasco then you got that right.

It was Trumps cowardly deal with the Taliban, the enemy mind you, that started this in the first place. It is laughable to suggest this wouldn't have happened if he was in office.

Just reading the comments here and the level of stupidity in parochial American politics is clearly on display, not a factual comment in sight.
